22. KKT des Rondo la kulturo coethen e.V.

The theme of the 22nd Kleinkunsttag, which will take place on October 26 at 8 PM in the event center in Köthen Castle, this year is "Sommer? Nacht? Traum?". Like a red thread, William Shakespeare's almost eponymous play will run through the cheerful and surprising evening, which revolves around the great theme of love in all its possible facets. Look forward to an entertaining event with plenty of humor, wit, and charm, as well as great performers and contributors. This year, the dance studio "Step by Step," the "Crazy Chicken" group from Köthen, and the "Chorklang Eintracht" have been won over to share the stage with Rondo la kulturo.

From Rondo la kulturo, "Big Böörnd and his Soundshreckers," the "Blumen-Group" with a lively drumming number, the cabaret pantomime "Duo 112," the "Rondolinos," as well as the dance groups "da Capo" and "Harissa" will be there. The "Theater Planlos" is also included in the program, along with a mystical black light number from the group "Schmiraculix." For the first time, the "Örlie Bööörds," a singing group with guitar support, will be part of the evening. To conclude the night, DJ Uwe Stößel invites everyone to dance.

Doors open at 7 PM. The event starts at 8 PM in the event center in Köthen Castle. Tickets are available at the tourist information in Köthen Castle and online at http://www.schlosskoethen.de. Tickets cost 14 € in advance, 17 € at the box office.

It is only since 1998 that peace has returned to Cambodia, and the country is experiencing a revival. Scarcely explored nature reserves along the Mekong, Asia's largest lake, the Tonle Sap, and of course Angkor itself enchant visitors from all over the world.

Enchanted and mysterious, the ruins of the former great empire lie amidst lush rainforests. Despite the cruel past, the people of Cambodia have not lost their zest for life; friendly and welcoming, they greet their guests and look optimistically towards a better future.

With great ambition, he is preparing for a major expedition to Greenland. His childhood idol, the climber Stefan Glowacz, has invited him to sail to Greenland with him and Arctic expert Thomas Ulrich. The adventure includes a one-month sailing trip across the North Atlantic to West Greenland, followed by a 1,000-kilometer trek across the Greenland ice sheet to Scoresbysund. There, a significant first ascent of impressive rock formations is to take place.

Musical theater evening with actor Peter Schneider

Singer of the revolt, actor, political rocker, art whore, voice of a generation, romantic, founding father of German pop music, hate preacher, schlager singer, muse, drinker, the best rock singer of the republic, "useless for the anti-imperialist struggle" – all this (and much more) was Rio Reiser and yet also not. One who never stayed true to his role but always to himself. One who fought with his alter ego. An artist with an unrelenting urge for the stage. One who lived and died there, to rise again and again. Under mountains of ideological legacies and the consumption of the pop cultural advertising machinery. Between an eternal hero's monument and colorful brave star cut: Who was this Ralph Christian Möbius from Traunreut in Upper Bavaria? On this evening we want to search for him, and we will either find him in his music or nowhere. Reiser about Reiser: "I am not a guru, not a politician, cannot say where to go. Nonsense! I tell fairy tales, stories, folk songs."

The Leipzig actor and musician Peter Schneider approaches, in his own way, one of his great role models and transforms the poetry of the unforgettable songwriter into a staged night figure full of pain, heart, and love for music.

Peter Schneider, born in 1975 in Leipzig, completed a music degree after graduating from high school in 1995 and from 1998-2002 an acting degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig, which he completed with a diploma. Since then he has primarily worked as an actor, but also as a musician, composer, and musical director at various theaters in Germany. Among other things, he worked at the Volksbühne Berlin, the HAU Berlin, at Schauspiel Leipzig, Chemnitz, Zittau, and Rudolstadt, the TdjW Leipzig, the state theaters of Schwerin, Karlsruhe, the theaters of Heilbronn, Plauen-Zwickau, and at the stages of the cities of Halle, Gera, and Altenburg.

Since an intensive collaboration with Edgar Reitz from 2001-2002 ("Heimat 3"), Peter Schneider has worked on over 100 film and television productions. For example, he played the lead roles in Philipp Kadelbach's remake of "Nackt unter Wölfen" (German Television Award "Best television film 2015") as well as in Hans Weingartner's critically acclaimed psychological drama "Die Summe meiner einzelnen Teile." For this, Peter Schneider was nominated for the German Film Award (LOLA) in the category of "best acting performance male leading role" in 2012 and for the German Film Critic Award in 2013. Also in 2013, Mareille Klein's film "Gruppenfoto," in which Peter Schneider plays the lead role, received the "Max Ophüls Prize 2013." In 2017, "Die Stille danach" and "Königin der Nacht" (also with Peter Schneider in the lead roles) were nominated for the Grimme Prize. With the involvement of Peter Schneider, the film "Kids Run" received the "German Actors Award" for best ensemble in 2020, and the improvisational film "Für immer Sommer 90" received the Grimme Prize and the German Television Award in 2021. Since 2021, Peter Schneider has been a police commissioner in Halle alongside Peter Kurth. In 2022, the episode "Polizeiruf 110 - An der Saale hellem Strande," directed by Thomas Stuber, was awarded "Best Film" at the Wiesbaden Television Crime Festival.
