It's getting dark again at KUZ! "Werewolves - the show" combines improvisational theater with the globally successful social game "The Werewolves of Düsterwald".
The scenario: There is peaceful tranquility in Düsterwald. However, this tranquility is brutally disturbed when a bloody curse hits the village. Some of the residents transform into werewolves at night and hunt humans. Each night, a different innocent victim is targeted. No one is safe anymore.
During the day, the audience as a village community tries to expose and kill the werewolves. But how can you recognize a werewolf? Who can you trust and who has become suspicious? Whether the Mayor or your own wife - evil can lurk in anyone.
The audience as the village court (that's you!) has the final say. Can you manage to stop the werewolves before it's too late for Düsterwald?

Maxi Gstettenbauer remains STABLE
The man with the rolling R and individual incisor constellation is an indispensable part of German comedy. For 15 years now, the native Lower Bavarian has been avoiding regular work and entertaining thousands of viewers. Maximilian Ronald Alfons Gstettenbauer (his full name) is the sympathetic family man who despairs of both the world and his own standards. Unfortunately, he often does so in a loud manner, which is bad for his blood pressure but excellent for our funny bone! The proto-millennial is one of the few representatives of his guild who master both the bawdy everyday comedy and the delicate social critique. The future is shaking the fences of our present. Nobody wants to move so that everything stays as it never was. Yet, the most stable buildings in the world are designed to sway during an earthquake. Because nothing breaks faster than a beam that cannot bend. This balancing act between reliable delivery of punchlines and overwhelmed world-weariness is the artistic primordial soup of Maxi Gstettenbauer. When all certainties have been swept off the table, the dark-humored family man seeks answers to the big questions: Can one defend the EU's external borders in Call of Duty as well? Can't we just go on strike against climate change? And how can an atomic bomb be harmful when it's vegan? To remain STABLE, one must move. Preferably to a theater near you! As physics teachers, they know how to convert bone-dry school routine into an illustrative stage show, already captivating large and small audiences, for example, at the Science Festival in Luxembourg, the Science Days at Europa Park Rust, and the Theaterhaus in Stuttgart. In their luggage (or rather, in the large transporter) are many spectacular, astonishing, reflective, romantic, and even frightening experiments. Can these inventors actually transmit music with a laser or present to the world a perpetual motion machine?

Phil Siemers - Solo-Tour 2024

The singer-songwriter Phil Siemers is still considered a newcomer. In addition to impressive performances on TV shows such as Inas Nacht and the Pierre M. Krause Show, he has impressively demonstrated on various stages that he captivates his audience live with his calm soulful timbre, timeless songwriting, and passion for handmade, analog soundscapes.

In September 2022, his album "Marleen" was released, and most recently Phil Siemers released a song together with Gregor Meyle. Currently, he is working on his third studio album. In the fall of 2024, the multi-instrumentalist brings his songs to the stage for the first time solo - with skillful use of a loop station, he seemingly effortlessly creates the sound of a complete band before the eyes and ears of the audience. He stacks and layers guitar and keyboard parts, harmonies, and laid-back grooves, presenting the songs from his two albums in a new light. An evening that promises not only an extraordinary musical experience but also a deep insight into the creative versatility of the young artist. The "SOLO TOUR 2024" starts on November 20, 2024, in Hamburg.

DAS VEREINSHEIM will be back in March at the KUZ
Music – Visual Arts – Pop Culture
The press reacts enthusiastically, musicians and guests rave about a unique event. The Mannheimer Morgen describes it as "a phenomenal music experience," while the Worms city magazine even called it "the best concert of the year." For 10 years now, the award-winning concert series Das Vereinsheim has been taking place at the Tollhaus in Karlsruhe and in the Alten Feuerwache Mannheim, and has long become a pop cultural flagship of the region and beyond.
But what lies behind the idea? Das Vereinsheim is more than just a concert: Every evening, new musical and visual worlds are created, with changing guests invited, merging different art forms, visual arts, performance, and music into something very special. The classic stage-audience situation dissolves; the visitors become part of the performance, immersing themselves in a 360° visualization, bathing in a shower of sound.
At the core is now an artist collective, consisting of David Maier, Nico Schnepf, and Rouven Eller. The additional guests will be announced in the coming weeks.

The somewhat different Valentine's Day show that combines love and laughter: Love Letter!
Get ready for an improvised romantic comedy with a lot of humor. The show, the characters, and the music - everything is live inspired by your love letters. Three of the letters will be read by the ensemble of Affirmative on stage. So, you can influence how the story unfolds - and whether there will be a happy ending!

Whether you want to celebrate your single status or your relationship - stage is set for a date with Mainz's most famous improv theater!

How much hyaluronic acid fits into the face of an intelligent woman? How much Botox can I subject my political stance to? How much sagging breasts endure? Saralisa Volm is right in the middle of the beauty craze. It is time for physical self-empowerment, better sex, real anger, relaxed aging, and to finally say no.
The female body is publicly debated, but where is female self-determination?

SARALISA VOLM, is an actress, art historian, and filmmaker.
In 2017, the film satire "Fikkefuchs", produced by her, caused a sensation. In 2022, she appeared in the award-winning film "When Susan Sontag Sat in the Audience" (Directed by RP Kahl) as Germaine Greer. Her directorial debut feature film, "The Silent Forest," premiered at the Berlinale in 2022.

Body is everywhere. Evaluation is everywhere. No escape.
What does that do to us? Saralisa Volm is torn between the major renovation of her body and a big "Fuck you". Can't one just find themselves shapeless and still enjoy life? The 38-year-old has intensively dealt with the topic of the body professionally and privately. Here she tells the story of her ambivalent relationship with her own body. She is the starting point for the feminist discussion on the topic. Who is to blame for our beauty dilemma? And above all: what can we women counter it with.

The new book "The Eternal Insufficiency" will be released on 25.04.23 by Ullstein Verlag.
