Markus Barth - Pures Gold

The biggest advantage in the life of a standup comedian? No matter what happens to you, every streak of happiness and every disaster - eventually, it will turn into a spectacular stage act. Pure gold, indeed!
And so Markus Barth brings out the shovel in his new live show and digs for the nuggets.

The master of maximal-minimalist stand-up ("One stage, one microphone - I leave everything else to Helene Fischer") digs everywhere it glitters - but also where it hurts. He plows through his own biography, tidies up current events, and even looks into the future for his audience ("At what age do I actually have to walk around in racing bike shoes through German wine towns?").
In the meantime, he appears to chat harmlessly with the audience, spares no one (especially not himself), and effortlessly manages the balancing act between pain and punchline. Because: Comedy is tragedy plus time. Well, and a few gags don't hurt either. But believe us: Markus Barth has plenty of those in his bag.

P.S.: The last show of this tour takes place on February 27, 27 at the Gloria in Cologne. After that, Markus Barth will be off for a while. On a treasure hunt, so to speak. Better take a look beforehand!

What happens when 17 million orange climate refugees roll into Germany in their caravans due to rising sea levels? Are the Germans then ready to welcome the much-loved Dutch?

„Die orangene Gefahr – Die Holländer kommen“ is the first German-language program by Dutch comedian Patrick Nederkoorn. The premiere took place in spring 2022 at the Haus der Springmaus in Bonn. It is an amusing and bitterly funny confrontation with the peculiarities of our two nations and the topic of migration in climate change. The program was nominated for the Prix Pantheon and won the Obernburger Mühlstein, the Comedian Jackpot, the Silver Reinheim Satire Lion, and the Second Prize of the Tuttlinger Krähe.

Hitverdächtig – Der musikalische Jahresrückblick

Can you seriously earn a doctorate in pop music? Yes! And what do you do with it? Comedy and cabaret. Dr. Pop is the doctor of all things musical. He practices on the radio, TV, online, and on stage. He treats with music samples and quirky, yet completely true music facts. Did you know that termites eat through wood twice as fast when they listen to heavy metal? Or that there is a Barry White effect in evolutionary theory? The deeper the male's voice, the greater the chances of mating. This applies to both humans and koalas.

In Dr. Pop's live show, music plays that can save a party, a relationship, or the motivation to exercise. Whether it’s pop, rock, classical, schlager, jazz, hip-hop, or rap, Dr. Pop launches familiar yet also unknown samples from music history. And by the end of the show, everyone in the audience knows how to enrich their own life a little more with music.
