Paulsen, the name says it all: an entertaining potpourri of handstand acrobatics, juggling, magic, and aerial acrobatics mixed with quirky humor, energy, and poetry. Surprising and breathtaking, sometimes bizarre and insanely funny – the crème de la crème of the variety world unites for a unique, colorful show!
"Best of Varieté" is newly and individually compiled for each venue – including the Stadthalle Singen. Here, Antje Pode showcases a special form of juggling: the "traditional" way is too easy for her, she prefers to make suitcases, bags, and other objects dance on her feet! TJ Wheels juggles with his hands, performing breathtaking tricks on a mini halfpipe while wearing roller skates. He then proves his balance elegantly dressed as James Bond on a rola-rola board. Aramelo shows tricks and flips on the trampoline, acrobat Marina amazes with handstand acrobatics and dynamic hula-hoop dancing. This program will keep the audience in awe! Fortunately, host Daniel Reinsberg guides the evening and provides the audience with entertaining breaks through his mix of comedy and ventriloquism!
"Varieté" means diversity – and that becomes abundantly clear here. Just as diverse as the variety show artists are, the audience of such a show is also diverse. Whether old or young, rich or poor, tall or small: everyone can marvel, clap, and forget the worries of everyday life at this show.
Maik M. Paulsen is a versatile artist of the variety arts – on, in front, and behind the stage. The state-certified artist entertained audiences for many years as a juggler and performer. From 2005 to 2022, he organized the graduates' show of the State Artist School Berlin. With over 40 shows at more than 30 venues throughout Germany, this annual production has become one of the most successful variety shows in Germany. When selecting artists for "Best of Varieté," it is particularly important to him that the individual performances fit well together despite their differences. This makes the show a coherent, breathtaking work of art!
