SKASSAPUNKA - ALDO CHIAMA ANCORA TOUR
Skassapunka were born in Lainate, near Milan, at the end of 2008. This band is known for its strong anti-fascist and anti-racist connotations. In 2013 Skassapunka released the first album Di Vento in Vento. In 2014 the band entered the roster of the independent label Kob Records. In 2015, the second album “Il gioco del silenzio,” featuring Enrico from Los Fastidios and Dema from Talco, was released. The first European tour followed the album. In 2016, with the single We Want To Dance Ska, a new European tour started. In 2017, the single “Bella Ciao” and the third album Rudes Against came out; they were followed by a European tour that led the band to play with groups like Bad Manners, The Prosecution, and The Flatliners. 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of Skassapunka, celebrated with a new EP, “Adelante,” and a new tour, the "Adelante tour." Throughout this 10th year of activity, the band played with some of the most important bands in the Italian and International ska and punk scene, such as The Locos, The Real McKenzies, The Bombpops, Los Fastidios, and The Sewer Rats. In May 2019, a new European tour started, named after the single Paradox. In November 2020, a new album “Revolutionary Roots” was published by MALDITO RECORDS. In July 2021, a new single “UNITED WE STAND” was released for Maldito Records. On 17th March 2022, also for Maldito Records, Skassapunka released a new single, a ska-punk cover of the popular Irish song “FOGGY DEW,” with the famous Italian combat folk band Modena City Ramblers as special guests. In December, the band released “DOPOLAVORO,” a ska two-tone song from the new album “Al di là del vostro cielo,” out in Spring 2023.
