Piano Cosmos – Classical Music For The Next Generation
In the seemingly infinite Piano Cosmos, the QUEENZ OF PIANO break the boundaries
between classical piano music and the electrifying atmosphere of a pop concert.
With virtuosic precision and deep musical understanding, the two pianists combine
classics with energetic beats, art music with popular music, and high culture with
pop culture. Their distinctive sound is created by combining piano music
with synthesizers, ethereal sounds, and minimal beats – a symbiosis that elevates
the piano concert into the 21st century. In their program, Bach meets the
pulsating rhythms of Daft Punk's Aerodynamic, while Ludwig van Beethoven's Für
Elise shines in a completely new, atmospheric sound cloak. The
Moonlight Sonata takes the audience into cosmic sound worlds by merging
with the epic elements from Hans Zimmer's soundtrack to Interstellar. The duo
completes the program with their own compositions that impressively demonstrate
their musical range.
On the most prestigious stages and classical festivals worldwide, the QUEENZ
feel at home. With their energetic stage show and charming moderations,
they have captivated audiences internationally – from Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong
to England, Portugal, France, and Poland. The South China Morning Post described
their 5-week China tour as “A musical extravaganza,” leading to invitations to
the Acropolis of Nice and the Classic Delights Festival in Hong Kong.
In the past, they thrilled audiences on major TV shows such as MDR’s “The Big Show
of Stars,” the “ZDF-Morning Magazine,” the “ZDF-TV Garden,” as well as “das!” and “ARTE
Concert.”
In May 2025, the new album will be released through EDEL KULTUR. At the same time,
the release tour will start in over 50 cities across Germany.
