In 2024, the successor band of the legendary Wise Guys will be touring again. The quintet, which has recently been joined by former "Voice of Germany" semifinalist Friedemann Petter, brings a particularly diverse and colorful range of new songs – many of which are from their upcoming fourth studio album.

The wide musical and lyrical range of their almost entirely self-written songs captivates the audience just as much as the energetic, cheerful, and often spontaneous stage show. The heads, hearts, and laughter muscles of the concert attendees are equally engaged and challenged. The stage and the live ambiance are the absolute preferred terrain for ALTE BEKANNTE, their natural habitat, so to speak. Those who experience their concert leave in great spirits. To quote an enthusiastic concertgoer in Kleve: “It was like you were throwing a party and taking us along!”. Or as the singers themselves put it: “Streaming concerts are good, CDs are great, but: Nix geht über LIVE!”

ALTE BEKANNTE also aim to "make up" for their own backlog in live concerts in 2024, just as much as for that of their audience, which expects a true boost of joy in these rather gloomy times.

Alte Bekannte on a big tour

In 2025, the successor band of the legendary a cappella formation Wise Guys is back on a big tour across Germany to satisfy their backlog in live concerts – and surely also that of the audience, who are expecting a true boost of joy. The stage and the live atmosphere are simply their natural habitat.

On board: the two original Wise Guys and founding members of Alte Bekannte: Daniel ‘Dän’ Dickopf and Björn Sterzenbach. The quintet celebrates their German-language a cappella songs with an incomparable authenticity, where EVERYTHING! is produced solely with human voices, including the rhythm accompaniment.

The five bring along a particularly diverse and colorful palette of their songs – many from their fourth studio album “Stabil”. For example, the nearly carnival-compatible and funny “Wenn das die Lösung ist (dann will ich mein Problem zurück)” or the deeply sad ballad “Wer braucht denn schon”, the hopeful “Bleib stabil” or the cheeky “Lehrerkind”, which addresses the problematic friendship with a true know-it-all.
