Two personalities of these beautiful, feathered scratch and water creatures meet in this play by pure coincidence. But from the encounter of the two quite different nest-builders with rather contrasting characters, life attitudes, and future visions, companions emerge who discover the unexpected, together master the most difficult undertakings, overcome boundaries, and face a great adventure, greater than they could ever have dreamed: despite their differences, they have become friends!

Julia Brandner is a stand-up comedian, author, and blogger. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, she earned her Master's in Journalism and Communication Studies in Vienna. She now lives in Berlin.

She is known for openly and humorously discussing personal topics, such as her sterilization. This led to features in major magazines and newspapers in the country, on Puls4, Austria's largest private broadcaster, and appearances as a keynote speaker at events that could use more humor and less sexism.

Following the successful debut novel "Aus Rot und Blau wird Lila," her new book "Das L in Frau steht für lustig" was released in April. Her third book will be published in March 2025.

Julia is passionate about comedy, sweet pitbull videos, and (given her content, perhaps a bit too much) German rap. She demonstrates that critical content can be packaged humorously and that one should also laugh at oneself.

"Jan Plewka sings Rio Reiser", was one of the great successes at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus over ten years ago under the then artistic director Tom Stromberg. WHEN, IF NOT NOW? gathers songs from the time of Rio Reiser's solo career again, but focuses more on the songs from the Ton Steine Scherben years. Jan Plewka and Die Schwarz-Rote Heilsarmee bring the Scherben's music into the present. The songs have become darker and harder. The will for change back then is now charged with anger over today's conditions and made tangible. The cheerful hits and tender love songs have given way to political and combative songs. Three Turkish women from the first generation of immigrants. They arrive in a foreign country that is so different from what they had imagined. They do not want to stay long, yet they are faced with the challenge of making friends with their new home. How difficult is it to integrate into another country? And what does this country do for that? "The German Ayşe" is a scenic contribution to the ongoing debate about the success of integration. Author Tuğsal Moğul portrays in his play three strong women, whose life stories speak for themselves on stage.

Tuğsal Moğul was born in Neubeckum in 1969. In his play premiered at the Theater Münster and invited to the 2013 intercultural festival "Made in Germany" in Stuttgart, he assembles his own memories and interviews he conducted with immigrants into a joyful revue about the beginnings of migration in Germany.

CAVEMAN takes a unique look at the relationship between man and woman. American Rob Becker wrote the most successful solo piece in Broadway history with CAVEMAN.
