Lesung | Martina Hefter | Hey guten Morgen, wie geht es dir?
During the day, Juno helps her severely ill husband Jupiter manage his daily life. In addition, she is an artist, dances, and acts in theater. And at night, when she can't sleep again, she chats with love scammers on the internet. Martina Hefter has written a touching novel about needs and longings in life. And about how far one is willing to go for love.
Juno writes online with men who confess their love to women online and try to swindle them out of their money. But instead of falling for it, these very men become a form of freedom for Juno. In the conversations, she can be whoever she wants and say whatever she wants – supposedly without consequences. This is in stark contrast to her otherwise hectic life, where she is always on the move, always worried about Jupiter, always busy and involved. So Juno occasionally escapes from her daily life into the internet and plays games with men who lie to her. She herself becomes a liar. But isn't it true that when you lie, you are primarily lying to yourself?
One day, Juno meets Benu, who sees through her claims just as she sees through his. And despite the distance between them, a connection forms. "Hey good morning, how are you?" is a profound novel, but as light-footed as a comedy.
