Because South Tyrol is much more than mountains & castles, than speck & skiing, than the Tre Cime and Ortler, than whales and holy water, than Wolkenstein and hiking trails!

Walter Steinberg lived in Brixen for three years and grew to love South Tyrol alongside his work as a development engineer in photo technology. So much so that the idea of returning to the southern side of the Italian Alps for a travel report had been swirling in his mind for some time. Ultimately, he began to put this idea into action together with his wife, biologist and native Lingener Dr. Siglinde Fischer. Always with them: mixed-breed dog Motte.
