Anyone who has experienced Seraina Telli live knows why her music is best described as "In-Your-Face-Rock": The musician fills every room with her unmistakable vocal power, big guitar riffs, and her colorful punk-meets-glitter attitude. Her shows evoke all emotions: Boredom has no place here.
Whether solo with just an acoustic guitar or with her band, Seraina effortlessly captivates her audience. Without any inhibitions, she draws from various stylistic elements in her songwriting, from rock to metal, punk, and a good pinch of pop, creating a refreshingly authentic sound that easily sticks in your ear and stays there. Her debut album “SIMPLE TALK” debuted at number 2 on the Swiss album charts after its release on October 21, 2022 – a sensation for a rock newcomer – and even secured the 28th spot on the US metal radio charts.
The album was recorded and produced in Switzerland and Mallorca together with her producer Rico H, with whom Telli has been collaborating since her departure from Burning Witches in 2019. With her music, Seraina Telli hits us with lyrics of striking straightforwardness: Songs like ‘I’m Not Sorry’ or ‘Modern Warrior’ offer a promise of strength that the multi-instrumentalist can effortlessly deliver. In her live shows, Telli takes you into her universe full of unbridled creativity, touches you, shakes you up, and doesn’t let go. In the fall of 2022, Seraina Telli played several concerts with Stahlmann and supported Core Leoni, the band of Gotthard guitarist Leo Leoni, on their European tour “Let Life Begin”.
In the spring of 2023, Seraina toured with “The New Roses” and opened two shows for the legendary “Steel Panther” in Hamburg and Berlin. She also supported “Monster Magnet” and played numerous festivals throughout the summer. As a grand finale to the summer season, she toured the UK with “Visions of Atlantis”. There was hardly any time to catch a breath; on August 25, her second album “Addicted to Color” was released and promptly reached number 1 on the Swiss album charts. It was introduced in style with the nationwide “Color Addict” tour in September and October. In December, Seraina graced the “This is Rock” production at Hallenstadion alongside stars like Marc Storace (Krokus). Several international tours are already planned for 2024. The start is at the end of January in sunny Spain with a handful of warm-up gigs. In the spring, Seraina will accompany “John Diva”, and it will continue at a fast pace. You can sense it, a day without music is a lost day for Seraina. Seraina Telli is an update, not just for rock music: Loud, colorful, and outspoken, she plays directly into the ear canals and the hearts of her audience and is sure to make waves internationally.
