They were the show stars from the post-war economic miracle years until the 1980s! Peter Alexander, the entertainer and actor with Viennese charm and endless talent. Everyone knows his film classics like “The White Horse Inn”, his countless hits like “The Little Pub”, “Black Gold” or “Dad will sort it out”. His grand Saturday night shows were legendary, world stars passed each other by, and his comedic talent, when he parodied Hans Moser or the English royal family, is unmatched!
Heinz Erhardt, a jack of all trades on stage, comedian, actor, singer, and cabaret artist. Beyond the stage, he wrote volumes of poems that everyone knows to this day. Under the motto “Another Poem” or “What a rascal I am today again”, he delighted generations and represented the archetype of the man of the economic miracle.
Now there is finally the live show that commemorates both legends of German entertainment history!
“This show is a tribute, a red carpet and will honor these two wonderful artists,” says initiator and Peter Alexander performer Peter Grimberg with joy. “We will present a fireworks display of good cheer. The greatest Peter Alexander hits will also be featured along with the funniest sketches!”
By Peter Grimberg's side, Horst Freckmann as Heinz Erhardt. Both have known each other for decades and perform together in various shows. Originally, both performers came from Rudi Carrell's talent workshop, appeared in Carrell's show in the late 1980s, and have been awarded the “Golden Microphone”. Later, both were also part of the author and casting team of the Dutch show legend.
Peter Grimberg and Horst Freckmann have also celebrated further successes as musical performers. In the musical “Servus Peter”, they were part of the team of the “Most Successful Musical on Tour” with over 250,000 visitors.
“We grew up with Heinz Erhardt, Peter Alexander, Rudi Carrell, and Harald Juhnke and still revere them today! That’s why we are very excited to be able to remember the two legends with a grand selection of musical titles, sketches, and poems,” says Horst Freckmann, who also had the opportunity to work on stage and on TV alongside Harald Juhnke.
