The Offenders
THE OFFENDERS were formed in 2005 in Cosenza (Italy) and moved to Berlin at the end of 2008. Starting as a 2-Tone Ska band, THE OFFENDERS developed their own sound that combines punk rock, off-beat, and a touch of Irish folk with elements like mandolin or bouzouki, and over the years built a solid fan base by playing shows and festivals across Europe, including two tours in Russia and one in China, and their first single "Hooligan Reggae" became a 2-Tone dancefloor anthem and an underground hit, while their latest single "Marchez" has almost a million streams on Spotify (as of November 2022). The Offenders will release their 9th album ORTHODOXY OF NEW RADICALISM in spring 2023 on Long Beach Records; some of their earlier albums were released and pressed by Destiny Records and Mad Butcher. The band has always supported antifascist and anti-racist groups throughout Europe and abroad and played at parades and benefit events as well as at well-known festivals such as Rebellion (UK), Mighty Sounds (CZ), Ruhrpott Rodeo (DE), Zickenstock (FR), Los Almiros (GR), Sjock (BE), This is Ska (DE), Rude Boys Unity (CH), and others. They have shared the stage with bands like Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Social Distortion, Dropkick Murphys, Nofx, Korn, Cock Sparrer, Anti Flag, Selecter, Agnostic Front, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, to name just a few.
