Das schwäbische Kriminal Dinner - Krimidinner mit Kitzel für Nerven und Gaumen
The Swabian Crime Dinner 'Sherlock Holmes and the Poisoned Maultaschen Soup' - a delicious multi-course menu in a stylish atmosphere surrounded by an exciting criminal case at the Landgasthof Zur Oma in Wyhl am Kaiserstuhl.
‘Sherlock Holmes and the Poisoned Maultaschen Soup’
Yes, you read correctly, the famous master detective Sherlock Holmes and myself, Dr. Watson, have ended up in Swabia. Admittedly, not entirely voluntarily. However, our genius could not decline the invitation of an old acquaintance, the Baroness von Zuckerberg, to a gala dinner once again. And now we are dining here at the very same time in the adjacent room of the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu that evening.
While on the run from his talkative Swabian table neighbor, the detective narrowly misses the alleged murder of the hostess' husband, Baron von Zuckerberg, in the maultaschen soup.
Sure, his health was not the best. But to suddenly keel over into the maultaschen soup is not exactly the proper, refined English way to die, especially not in Swabia. However, for Sherlock Holmes, the previously deadly boring evening is saved.
A dialect crime is about to unfold, a highly puzzling case, since the investigation results seemingly rule out any traces of poison. Questioning the witnesses, the medical examiner, and some of the dinner guests makes some innocent lambs in the room appear suspicious.
The famous detective diligently and in good spirits activates his little grey cells. "Swabian cunning" starts to spread, but no false house builder can pull the wool over the master's eyes that easily. He naturally arrives at the solution of the case pretty quickly. But as always, he keeps us in the dark for a while before the murderer is brilliantly exposed.
Perhaps you will also soon have the solution at hand, as you too will have your say that evening.
The 3-course menu will be served by the restaurant team at the Landgasthof Zur Oma. The Crime Dinner, promising thrills for your nerves and palate, will kick off at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
