Inka Bause - 40 Jahre Musik – Die Tour zum Jubiläum
INKA “40 Songs - 40 Years” - The Album and the Big Tour for the Anniversary
Inka Bause is celebrating her 40th stage anniversary in 2025. A large part of the country knows her primarily from hosting “Bauer sucht Frau,” but she had already made her first TV appearances in her youth. In 1984, Inka presented herself to the television audience for the first time with her song Spielverderber during a New Year's Eve gala.
Now, a real milestone is ahead for her: INKA - the album and the big tour for the 40th stage anniversary.
The album “INKA” is a journey through 4 decades, old and new - through East and West, from teenager to grown woman. This auditory journey through her life is quite unique in the entire German market: Two biographies, two careers. With this album, you will get to know the artist INKA properly. It is designed like a musical diary. Besides the music, it is enriched with a lovingly and elaborately designed booklet - full of private pictures, memories, and personal stories for each song.
For the first time, many of her old songs will be released digitally and played live.
On her tour in the fall of 2025, INKA will continue this journey.
As the daughter of the most successful composer of the GDR, Arndt Bause, it was only natural that INKA would also pursue a musical path. After many years of lessons in violin and piano as well as music theory, she studied singing at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. She graduated from her studies in 1989 (now a Master’s degree). During this time, she became a teen star for a whole generation.
INKA has received numerous awards and prizes, achieving top positions in charts on radio and TV. She is the only artist to have received the “Silberner Bong” 5 times - as the winner of the East German counterpart to the ZDF-Hitparade. Here, she was the first East German artist to place 3rd in 1990, marking her entry into the entire German market.
For fans of Schlager music, she is also known for her summer hit “Florian” (2001). She is increasingly making a name for herself as a host at ZDF, HR, and MDR. RTL has taken notice of her. Since 2005, she has hosted many formats for the channel. With the most successful format “Bauer sucht Frau,” she will already celebrate her 20th anniversary in 2024.
However, music never lets her go. Inka writes many of her lyrics herself, has her own record label at Universal/Electrola, produces her albums with her teams herself, and celebrates music with her band and her fans at her passionate live concerts.
