NoRMAhl & Hass - Special Guest: De Schkandolmokers
Double concert by NoRMAhl & Hass
'Normahl' on tour: "Punk is not a religion.... ...Punk is to go your own way."
Normahl's guys have been sticking to their song lyrics for over 40 years now: loud, fast, aggressive, full of energy, they bring their songs to the stage. Almost like in the last millennium, when they toured Germany in the old Bedford Blitz, bringing down the relevant clubs from Zurich to Hamburg for a meager fee with free overnight stays in squatted houses.
Almost - they have perfected the sound, with Normahl a real rock band is on stage today, delivering each song cleanly on point. Singer Lars Besa draws from their extensive repertoire (Hard Nights, Walk Like a Tiger, That's Why I Stay Punk, Flowers in the Trash, Fraggles - to name just a few of the legendary numbers), effortlessly jumping two hours in front of the mic. Guitarist Mick Scheuerle flawlessly lets his rich riffs pearls from his fingers, drummer Raimund Skobowsky, often barefoot and in shorts, is never short of finesse with the drumsticks and consistently provides a compelling rhythm, the youngest addition on bass, Christian Polzer, skillfully swings his strings to it.
The guys from Normahl are still going on tour today because they enjoy it, because they play songs that have not lost any relevance, because punk is about going your own way.

De Schkandolmokers, that's Timo, Malte, Jens, and Steffen. The name says it all with this band. On stage, scandal, humor, and a good dose of punk rock are offered. The 4 gentlemen from Oldenburg show that punk rock works not only in German and English but also wonderfully with Low German texts. With hits like "Trekker Förn!" or "Mors Hoch," there's no holding back in the audience. Sing-along factor guaranteed. Established in 2012, de Schkandolmokers have played countless stages in Low German and non-Low German areas. Sharing the stage with bands like De Fofftig Penns and Torfrock, the Plattpunks hit the nerve of the listeners with their witty and sometimes ironic lyrics. Their current album "Luud at Schkiet" is no longer a secret tip. Their new EP "Pottlappen" will be released in 2016 via Kosmopolite Records. Don't miss it!
