"Abgespeckt" - Das Ensemble der Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft
ZWICKMÜHLE presents:
The Ensemble of the Munich Laugh and Shoot Society
"Abgespeckt"
with Christl Sittenauer, Frank Klötgen, Sebastian Fritz
These three can be seen anywhere, as they possess all the necessary skills: rhyming, singing, joking around, and also engaging in critical philosophy.
“Abgespeckt” is a fast-paced cabaret piece that comes with a lot of momentum, playful wit, and an original dose of poetry. The content couldn't be more current: culture of dispute and division in society. The Laugh and Shoot Ensemble stages a two-party society: up on the mountain, a wellness hotel complete with a cutesy party, gender-free relaxation rooms, party whirlpools, as well as a 90s-style infusion for comfort. Down in the valley, the little people who fear for their existence because of the spa hotel on the mountain, while at the same time depend on the jobs up there. Sounds explosive and
inevitably confrontational, but it is resolved without explosives.
A message of peace, yet still wickedly poisoned in the end credits, for evil is always and everywhere.
“A content-rich and impressively dense theatrical piece. And let it be known: Sammy Drechsel, Dieter Hildebrandt, and Co. would surely have pressed the 'I think it's great' button in artistic heaven.” (Süddeutsche Zeitung)
