Spirit of Soul - Die Soulband & Black Music Partyband
Spirit of Soul
The Soulband & Black Music Partyband
In June 2016, Spirit of Soul celebrated its 15th anniversary in Mainz on the occasion of Johannisnacht in front of a lively audience of several thousand guests. Each of the singers has a completely unique, powerful, and unmistakable voice and offers top-class entertainment. Together with the backing band, which consists of the best professional musicians in the Rhine-Main area, the band merges into a fireworks display of "Groove" and "Soul."
Under the motto "The finest of Black Music," the program variety ranges from the great stars of the so-called "Old School" era, such as James Brown, The Temptations, Kool & The Gang, Earth Wind & Fire, and Marvin Gaye, through the 80s with Michael Jackson, Montell Jordan, to the new R&B stars of the modern scene, like Usher, Taio Cruz, and Pharrell Williams. All eras are blended together, allowing for a wide repertoire to be presented. The musicians not only play the original versions as simply recorded on CD but also manage to add a personal touch to each song live.
