The a cappella pop quartet Maybebop is known for their entertaining, musically versatile shows, where they engage the audience through closeness, sing-along actions, and improvisation. After the vocal acrobats performed in our Drive In events in the courtyard of the future cultural refinery K714 as well as in 2021 and 2023 in the auditorium at Berliner Ring, we are excited about their return: this time at the cultural refinery K714.

Around 25 years after their founding, they are fresher than ever and delightfully subvert every expectation, as the quartet resists rigid programming. Brand new songs meet celebrated classics, interaction meets spontaneity, curiosity meets self-ironic risk-taking. The band mainly sings their own German-language songs that are funny and touching, but jazz and rock covers also belong to their repertoire, elegantly shifting between sharp satire, profound reflection, touching empathy, and absurd comedy.

The perfect arrangements are particularly showcased in their elaborate shows, where music, sound, light, and video combine to create a breathtaking overall experience that is outstanding and unique in the cultural scene.
