„BEAT IT! – The success show about the King of Pop!“ is a spectacular live show experience about the most successful entertainer of all time, whose music will remain unforgettable forever. The approximately two-hour tribute retraces Michael Jackson's unparalleled solo career in spectacular images and presents live 20 of his greatest hits such as “Billie Jean,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Thriller,” “Man In The Mirror,” “Black Or White,” and of course “Beat It.” The show is a perfectly choreographed stage spectacle with excellent dancers, virtuoso musicians, and a lead actor who is so close to the original that visitors are regularly left breathless.

“That's one of the best Michael Jackson shows I've ever seen,” raved Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson right after the world premiere on August 29, 2018, at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. This resulted in record tours from 2018 to 2020 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with over 250 performances, most of them completely sold out, and a wave of boundless enthusiasm from audiences and press, before the tour unfortunately had to be prematurely ended due to COVID-19 in March 2020. After their successful return to the stage after a six-year break in spring 2026 in 44 cities with 85,000 visitors, the myth continues with a grand new version featuring a new cast on tour again in 2027. “BEAT IT! – The success show about the King of Pop!” resurrects the exceptional artist in a unique stage show. More than 250,000 enthusiastic viewers, an array of completely sold-out concert halls, and a knightly accolade from the brother cannot lie: The success show by musical producer Oliver Forster provided goosebumps night after night, not just for die-hard Michael Jackson fans.
Lead actor Garth Field: A life for the art
The South African was born in 1993 in Cape Town and is considered one of the best Michael Jackson performers in the world. The renowned producer Johnny Van Grinsven took notice of Garth's exceptional talent and engaged him for his successful production The Michael Jackson History Show. “Garth possesses the rare combination of vocal talent, dance ability, the perfect appearance, and above all the drive and ambition to do justice to this role and to constantly work to be the best in the business, just like his idol once did. I am therefore very proud that we were able to secure him for the new edition of ‘BEAT IT!’ as the lead cast in the role of Michael,” says Oliver Forster, the producer of the show. The alternate cast member is none other than Dantanio Goodmann, who toured with “BEAT IT!” from 2018 to 2020 and was then regarded worldwide as “the best Michael Jackson performer since Michael Jackson.”
