Really good rock needs a strong backbone and fine nerves: powerful stability and a sense of feeling. Ron Spielman has both. The guitarist, singer, and composer combines intricate songwriting at the highest level with the joyful directness of rock, and has been doing so for over 40 years. This is evidenced by his 15 released albums under his own name so far.
Blues and soul he has, funk and jazz as well, but what is truly exciting is the space between the genres, which Ron plays with ease on the rock stage. His credo: “For me, music is special when it offers enough space within itself: Everyone is allowed to enter and, in a wondrous way, find exactly what they have always been looking for.” This personal “parallel world” is opened by Spielman with modern rock songs: touching and captivatingly authentic, massive and intricate, anthemic and occasionally ballad-like intimate.
His new album "Lifeboat" stretches fine, clear melodic arcs over a rich, unobtrusive foundation. With sharply accented riffs and gently swaying choruses, he lyrically sheds light on modern society, with all its ups and downs.
His range and experience are enormous. Ron worked, among other things, for seven years as the musical director of the live band on SAT.1 breakfast television. He accompanied stars like Tommy Emmanuel, Bootsy Collins, Beth Hart, or Jamie Oliver. He sang live with Stevie Wonder, shared the stage with the Chick Corea Electric Band and Johnny “Guitar” Watson.
“I have lived and loved my music my whole life,” he says. Ronny Weiland, the singer with the deep goosebump-inducing voice, is going on a Germany tour with his new program "Konzert der Gefühle."

The idea for the new show came from the audience.

In many conversations and letters, the public thanked Ronny Weiland for his songs being good for the soul and for allowing them to experience each concert full of feelings and emotions.

The "Konzert der Gefühle" features the great successes of the masters and classical melodies.

To be heard, among others, are "Joy, Beautiful Spark of Gods," "Ave Maria," and the song of the prisoner chorus from "Nabucco."

This is the Christmas program by Ronny Weiland. The title “Are the lights on” is surely known to many from the children's choir of the radio in Leipzig.

Hans Sandig set the poem by Erika Engel to music, which ends with the words “There shall be peace everywhere.”

The glow of candles undoubtedly belongs to the Christmas season just like Christmas trees and the sound of bells. All of this is, of course, sung in the most beautiful traditional Christmas carols.

As with his concert tour “Memories of Ivan Rebroff,” Ronny also performs with his Christmas program in concert halls and churches. Visitors can look forward to a two-part concert program, contemplative, but also cheerful; that’s how Christmas should be!

The first part will be shaped by the “Great Feelings” with titles such as “The Moldau,” “Praying Hands,” and “Give Parents Something Back,” before Ronny invites the audience in the second part to listen to, dream about, and also sing along with Christmas carols. This warm singing voice is predestined for interpreting songs for the Christmas season and will not fail to evoke a feeling of emotion this time as well. Ronny Weiland always manages to captivate and inspire his guests. Loyalty and gratitude from his constantly growing fanbase are an indication of that! Ronny was introduced as “one of the best voices in Germany” during a TV appearance by Stefan Mross.
