Sophie Pacini, Klavier: "Gegen den Strom"
Program
The program will be announced shortly.
"Gegen den Strom"
Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, Karol Szymanowski, Jean Sibelius, Sergei Bortkiewicz, and others – they all composed at the edges of the mainstream, undeterred by trends and expectations. Sophie Pacini, one of the most charismatic pianists of her generation, dedicates her solo recital to these outsiders and free thinkers. With fiery conviction and pianistic brilliance, she shows that the path against the current is often the bolder and more interesting one.
