The “NACHT DER GITARREN” brings together the world’s best guitarists for a festival tour (each featuring four musicians), showcasing their latest original compositions as well as cover versions. For each tour, “NACHT DER GITARREN” presents a new lineup of guitar luminaries to create a very special evening with solo, duet, and quartet performances, highlighting the virtuosity and diversity within the acoustic guitar world. The festival is exciting because it is a meeting point for different cultures and younger artists encounter more experienced musicians. This mix is what makes these concerts so brilliant. Fans of the acoustic guitar will always find what they're looking for here; they discover new talents or interesting established artists every time.

Olaf the Flipper

He represents German music history. With his band "Die Flippers," he filled halls and arenas throughout the country for almost five decades. Over 250,000 people alone saw the farewell tour of the three exceptional artists. In this unprecedented career, 64 studio albums were awarded gold and platinum, and, among other accolades, 13 Goldene Stimmgabeln and two Echo awards were bestowed - just to name a few numbers. Statistically, every resident in Germany owns at least one Flippers CD. Since 2012, Olaf, the Flipper, has been thrilling his fans as a solo artist. With hits like "Lotusblume," "Mona Lisa," "Die rote Sonne von Barbados," "Tausend rote Rosen," and more, the entertainer knows how to get his audience out of their seats. His live DVD displaced Rammstein from the top spot in the DVD charts, his last studio album landed at number 4 in the international charts, and number 1 in the Schlager charts. But 2022 topped everything yet again: with "Wir sagen Dankeschön," a song from 2009, Olaf the Flipper once again captured the hearts of his fans and managed to unite generations. Even at Europe's largest electronic festival "Parookaville" or at "Rock am Ring," he thrilled the masses. At 77 years old, there's no end in sight for him.

Pia Malo
Her father is Olaf, former singer of Die Flippers, the most successful Schlager band of all time and for several years also a celebrated solo artist. "I am super proud of my father. He has made music history. You can even call me THE DAUGHTER :)"
In 2012, Pia released her first solo album "Leben-Lieben," which immediately entered the international German charts. In 2017, "Du tust mir gut" followed. In March 2019, the precursor to the new album was released. With "Dem Himmel so nah," Pia laid the foundation for her new CD. On May 31, 2019, her third album "Großstadthelden" was released, which entered at number 15 in the German Schlager charts. In 2022, Pia Malo celebrated three anniversaries: 30 years on stage, 10 of those as a soloist - and her 40th birthday. This was celebrated on the grand tour of Germany together with her father, Olaf the Flipper.

Since spring 2011, the group THE GREGORIAN VOICES has been on tour in Europe. Under the artistic direction of Oleksiy Semenchuk, the eight extraordinary Ukrainian soloists present the musical tradition of Gregorian chant in a sublime manner.

Dressed in traditional monk robes, the singers create a mystical atmosphere that takes the audience on a journey through the world of sacred music from the Middle Ages - a sound world without temporal, religious, and linguistic boundaries! Experience a varied concert with a mix of Gregorian chants, Orthodox church music, and songs and madrigals from the Renaissance and Baroque eras.
With their powerful voices and many solo passages, the choir and its soloists show how Gregorian chant can sound today: authentic yet contemporary.

The second part of the concert features classic pop songs, such as "Ameno" by ERA, "You raise me up" by Josh Groban, "Knocking on heaven's door" by Bob Dylan, "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen, "Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel, "Sailing" by Rod Stewart, which have been rearranged in the style of Gregorian chant.

Dr. Henry Jekyll has invited to a festive evening at his London mansion. Surrounded by good friends, he intends to announce his engagement to Lisa St. James. However, a dark shadow quickly falls over the merry gathering: Dr. Jekyll suffers from unexplained attacks and appears to be increasingly losing control. Some guests reveal themselves as shady figures. The prostitute Lucy Sharpness bursts into the celebration claiming to be the host's true fiancee. And who is the eerie Mr. Hyde, who seems to know the mansion inside out? Terrible murders take place, and a dark secret is uncovered. What was supposed to be a joyful celebration turns into a night of horror...

In this horror comedy, you will be right in the middle of the action; the audience is part of the plot. Of course, you can also watch the events solely from a spectator perspective. In between scenes, the kitchen monsters will serve you a delicious 4-course meal. A thrilling combination of dinner and theater. Suitable for even the faintest of hearts.

1996 was the year of couples: Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas got married, while Prince Charles and Lady Diana divorced. Tschibo swallowed Eduscho, the two old men of "Los del Rio" fortunately had only a summer hit with "Macarena" while Alice and Ellen Kessler published their first autobiography and Robin Williams shined with Nathan Lane as a dream couple in "The Birdcage." But what else was special? Jörg Dilthey and Andreas Schmitz had their very first performance on New Year's Eve as "Ham & Egg"!

That was an incredibly long time ago, and much has happened since then. The two gentlemen have performed together well over 2,500 times and have reached over 850,000 viewers in the process. They have invested in more than 250 elaborate and imaginative specialty costumes and own more than 150 wigs. The number of worn-out tights, danced-off shoes, and used make-up can only be speculated upon at this point. The two full-blood artists have already presented over 200 show numbers in their joint career. And the most beautiful and best numbers can now be seen in their anniversary program:

Plenty of costume ideas have been executed here with great attention to detail. Las Vegas, Broadway, and the fashion metropolis Paris pale with envy at the sight of the oversized feather collars, colorful boas, wheel-sized hats, glittering sequins, and plenty of sparkling rhinestones.

The two drag torpedoes take their audience on a journey through the international pop and schlager of the past decades. Powerful, voluminous, and above all "LIVE". A taxi equipped with UFO light effects, a fully set table in Italian style, a whole casino with roulette table, two colorful ostriches. All these ideas have been lovingly tailored to the artists and can now be admired once again.

The audience can look forward to the grand Evita, the beautiful Miss Silicon, the singing Statue of Liberty, as well as Egg's customary entertaining chatter. And who doesn’t know the gossip queen Riccarda Doetscher, who reaches peak gossip with her friend Annegret and later sings about her love for her typewriter. Further highlights will include the unique interpretation of Caterina Valente as well as the resurrection of the unforgettable Trude Herr, who will bring a small piece of Cologne folk theater history to the stage with her songs.
