With "IF NOT WHEN THEN NOW", Rolf Miller will certainly once again achieve one thing: elegantly dodging the elephant in the room. Because that's his character: stubborn as a bag of cement - which can only be allowed thanks to his humor. Grandiosely ignorant, vitally dull, and completely half-knowledgeable. As always, the comedian stoically plays exactly the rock in the surf, who confidently looks away, mouthful about important topics and definitely says nothing; and of course notices everything, except his own failure. The more everything around him collapses, the more we cannot grasp how this rooster does not realize what is happening. "He just doesn't realize it," you would say in real life. Fortunately, this dangerous vehicle remains on a stage. Roger Willemsen once called it "counter-fascination": the viewer can look down when they watch the jungle camp, and therefore delight in it. Contrary to the perpetrator. Miller succeeds in the "narrow balancing act," which he would mistakenly call it; presenting his character on one hand, but also reflecting our own failure on the other hand; fortunately with his registers of barely exaggerated satire, with exactly the lightness that we know from him - and therefore do not notice how he at least stupefies the elephant: "...if not when, uh then ... now ... so uh ... from the thing ... practically..." It is not enough to not think - one must also be incapable of expressing them - Part 8!!!
Rolf Miller's 8th program! At the latest with "No Reason to Initiate" and "Facts", the final breakthrough was achieved - with "Everything else is primary" and "Beware", the brilliant satirist could not only follow up but also reach an even larger audience.

After completing her studies at the Conservatory in Czech Republic/Pardubice under the guidance of Professor Václav Zítek, soprano Leona Kellerbauer moved to Munich with her now-husband Stefan and successfully completed the advanced study program at the Richard-Strauss Conservatory in the class of Barbara Wendt. She continued her studies with KS Prof. Ingeborg Hallstein and has since become a laureate of several international competitions.

Native Munich tenor Stefan Kellerbauer received his basic training from one of the most famous tenors of his time and teachers at the Richard-Strauss Conservatory in Munich, Kenneth Neate. He further developed his artistic skills through lessons and participation in master classes with KS Prof. Andrej Kucharsky and KS Felicia Weathers.

With great joy in performance, she showcases self-empowering strategies and possibilities for rebellion that she has developed for herself. An emancipatory ride through the struggle and survival of being a woman in the 21st century.

Who am I and how would I like to be? Actress Causemann confronts the challenges of self- and external images in a time striving for individuality with biting humor. She invites us in a conversational tone to question the structures that limit women's opportunities for self-realization and their pleasure. It is wonderfully absurd when she recreates the "Literary Quartet" with Marcel Reich-Ranicki and Sigrid Löffler about Elfriede Jelinek's novel "Lust" as a one-woman show or passionately debates with philosophers of all times.

Ebeneser's world is shrinking: Since his parents have lost their jobs, everything is getting smaller – the opportunities, the apartment, and finally even father and mother themselves. Sammy is already familiar with this; with her, Ebeneser can share the "Because we can't afford it" experiences. Along with TicTac candies, stories and fantasies, anger and courage. And when the "Because we can't afford it" even costs them the longed-for school trip, the two decide not to let themselves be made small, but to loudly remain silent. The award-winning children’s play uses fine humor and strong imagery to protest (quietly) against disappearance and silence, celebrating a wonderful friendship.



RAVEN RUËLL

(*1978 in Knokke, Belgium) studied theater directing at RITCS in Brussels, where he has also taught since 2001. He is an actor, author, and director, has been teaching at the Conservatory in Liège since 2006, and has also received multiple awards for his plays, like Sobrie.



JAN SOBRIE

(*1979 in Ghent) studied acting at the RITS theater school in Brussels. He works as an actor and writes plays in which he also performs. He was awarded the Dutch-German Children's and Youth Theater Award Kaas & Kappes with "Wutschweiger" for the third time in 2009. The first joint work of both authors also won the Youth Theater Prize Baden-Württemberg in 2020.

Yoshi and Hani are best friends, as long as yellow is the color of the sun. But suddenly, Yoshi is only interested in flying kites and doesn't let Hani play along anymore. A quarrel breaks out, the sky darkens, and clouds gather. To express Hani's pain for Yoshi, Hani lets Yoshi's kite fly away. Gradually, the storm subsides, the two find a way back to each other, and learn to express their injuries.

Yellow is the color of the sun is a charming piece about the friendship of two children who learn to communicate about their feelings and respect each other's boundaries. The fact that both communicate in different ways - one in spoken language, the other in sign language - makes it clear that it is not necessarily spoken words needed to recognize and understand feelings.

Playfully, Brendan Murray's piece conveys how accessibility can be embedded in the creative process and how children can approach different forms of communication.

The sea is a huge, beautiful, and wondrous place full of secrets that are often hidden deep in the ocean. One day, a wondrous newcomer appears: the Rainbow Fish. However, the Rainbow Fish is not interested in the community of the other sea creatures, and so he soon becomes the loneliest fish in the great ocean. Fortunately, there is the wise octopus. He brings him an idea that will change his life in the deep sea...

The Kora is a West African harp with 21 strings traditionally played by men. Sona Jobarteh has broken this old rule! She plays the Kora standing up and showcases her complex musical skills on stage as the frontwoman of her own band.
At the age of four, she learned the instrument from her brother, laying the foundation for her international career. Sona later studied music at the Royal College of Music, composition at the Purcell School of Music, and African studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Uniquely, she blends influences from modern music with traditional African music in her compositions, staying connected to the roots of her homeland.
For some years now, Sona has also been socially engaged by founding the "Amadu Bansang Jobarteh School" in Gambia, where children can study the traditional music of their homeland.

"I'm allowed to do this" is written on Markus Langer's T-shirt. Big, right in the middle of the chest. And the aspiring cabaret artist, often compared to the rebellious Polt, doesn't mean this in an egoistic way. Instead, he is convinced: The happier ones are those who don't care what others think. Those who break roles and reject expectations, ignore trends, and use their time for truly important things. Time millionaires indeed.

It's a message that is very close to his heart! Away with the many "to do's"! Better to take life into your own hands, each in their own way and above all with more humor! Markus Langer's artistic characters therefore have edges and quirks, and their absurd everyday life almost moves to tears, if he didn't tell about them with so much wit, bite, and acting talent, until tears of laughter flow. He brings his parodically finely modeled characters to the stage with well-fitting punchlines. Of course, also the most famous of them, the viral anti-hero Sepp Bumsinger. The one who really doesn't give a damn!

Or mature men, who calmly drive an adult pig in the backseat of a VW Polo to the vet and are not disturbed by a police check either. Men in their prime, grown up with a caring grandma, who calmly carry their kilos in the middle of their body as a profit in front of them, like a rock in the strong surf of fitness madness, which they tiredly smile at.

Already from 2004 to 2013, Rosenau, together with Theater Rampe, Theaterhaus, Literaturhaus, and Laboratorium, annually organized the "Viennese Week" festival. The idea was to focus on Vienna/Austria for a week and specifically invite cabaret artists, writers, authors, and theater productions from there to Stuttgart. The series "Wiener Blut" now picks up on this idea again. Throughout the year, various Austrian cabaret artists will present their programs at Rosenau: Social, political, and interpersonal topics are entertainingly brought to the stage in a cabaret style! And everything is a bit more biting, sinister, ironic, quirky, and often more poetic than from German territory.

Monika Martin on a Grand Live Solo Tour

Under the motto 'This Love is Sent from Heaven,' exceptional artist Monika Martin embarks on an extensive live tour that once again takes her all across Germany! "I am very excited to soon embark on this tour, to stand on stage, to meet my audience again, and to together feel the power of music," says Monika Martin.

In about two and a half hours of live experience, Monika Martin, along with her audience, takes several strolls through her decades-long successful career. Her first big hit 'La Luna blu' will be featured, as well as 'Das kleine Haus am Meer,' 'Angelo,' and 'Die neue Wirklichkeit,' along with a few songs from her newly announced album set for May 2023 making their premiere.
"Fast and rhythmic songs alternate with ballads like 'Sag mir alles' and the occasional unplugged version, along with new songs and tunes that touch me, that bring back beautiful memories and that I gladly share with the audience," Monika Martin gives some insights into the show's content. Monika Martin's concerts are always characterized by interaction with her audience. She enjoys involving her fans, building bridges between songs and between people with her moderation. She also directly addresses the audience. Even after three encores and the curtain falling, and the lights coming on in the hall, for Monika Martin, meeting her fans does not end there. "It is always a great joy for me to meet my fan family personally at the autograph stand after the concert. Every fan who knows me well knows how important this personal contact is to me. I only leave the autograph stand once all autograph requests have been fulfilled, and I have been doing this for 26 years," says Monika Martin.

The Hesselbachs invite you to coffee and cake.
"Kall, mei Drobbe!" Do you remember Mamma Hesselbach's legendary exclamation? Do you still recall the radio and television stories about the Hesselbach company "somewhere in Hesse"?

Jo van Nelsen, born near Frankfurt and well-known on all German cabaret stages, has unearthed two wonderful, now only available as rare books: "Babba" and "Mamma", written in 1967 by Wolf Schmidt, the creator and unforgettable actor of Babba Hesselbach, who transformed his favorite episodes into independent stories. Van Nelsen will now read from them: Indulging in bizarre entanglements and hidden jabs at politics, wonderfully still relevant today.

Thanks to van Nelsen's widely praised storytelling art, the audience will discover Wolf Schmidt, the radio and television veteran, for the first time as an ironically distant novelist, who manages to show the universal truths and absurdities of everyday life in the personal catastrophes of a Hessian petit-bourgeois family and condense them into cabaret dramas. Schmidt's sharp wit, as well as his deeply felt commitment to democracy and humanity, place him alongside the second great Hessian dialect poet, Friedrich Stoltze.

The Hesselbachs were the first television family in Germany, with viewership ratings of up to 94 percent that truly swept the streets. Because that's what we used to call "blockbusters" - street sweepers. But that was a time when people still complained about a "Dreckrändsche" and a "Röhrender Hirsch" adorned the living room. Similar acclaim was received by van Nelsen when he started the Hesselbach reading series in 2006 at the Stalburg Theater, Frankfurt am Main, where he read to sellout crowds every first Sunday of the month for over 3 years.

Let yourself be carried away into the Hesselbach universe full of peace and tranquility - and if you close your eyes, you will meet them all again: Babba and Mamma Hesselbach, the sons Willi and Peter, daughter Heidi, the Swabian accountant Münzenberger, the chief secretary Fräulein Sauerberg, the cleaning lady Frau Siebenhals, the apprentice Rudi, and all the other unforgettable characters of the successful series "Die Hesselbachs".

But if you keep your eyes open, there's only one: Jo van Nelsen. However, listening and watching him play everyone and everything in succession and in a jumble, is an experience you shouldn't miss!
