The phrase "bloß it hudla" means something like "just take your time...". This way of life is palpable when cycling through the beautiful hilly Allgäu landscape or strolling through the historic town of Wangen. It quickly becomes clear that this deceleration can be contagious.

Shortly after the fall of the Iron Curtain, New York music journalist Ruth Rothwax (LENA DUNHAM) travels to Poland with her father Edek (STEPHEN FRY) to uncover the legacy of her Jewish family. With the adaptation of the key novel "Too Many Men" by bestselling author Lily Brett, German filmmaker and screenwriter Julia von Heinz (HANNAS REISE, UND MORGEN DIE GANZE WELT) presents her most ambitious work to date. The lead roles are played by Lena Dunham, known from the cult series "Girls," and the celebrated British exceptional artist Stephen Fry ("The Dropout," WILDE). Through their confrontation with the shocking past of their family, the charismatic father-daughter duo gradually finds a way back to each other during their journey. Julia von Heinz sensitively directs this moving family story with warm humor. TREASURE had its world premiere at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in the Berlinale Special GALA section.

At the already traditional orchestra concert in the Catholic Church of St. Johann Baptist in Hagnau, the Southwestern German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim will once again perform this year together with the multiple award-winning violinist Anne Louisa Kramb.
The program features famous works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Under the direction of Georg Mais, the orchestra begins with Mozart's overture "La Finta Giardiniera – The Gardener in Love". Afterwards, Anne Louisa Kramb will play Mozart's Violin Concerto in A Major, KV 219, which the composer wrote at the age of 19 in Salzburg. This concerto is one of the most popular violin concertos in music history. In the second part, the Southwestern German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim will perform Mozart's "1st Lodron Night Music". This work was a gift from the composer to Countess Lodron for her name day celebration.

The Guttenberger Gipsy Jazz Project will be performing at the castle concerts for the first time on July 4th. The cousins Mano Guttenberger, solo guitar, Dadi Guttenberger, rhythm guitar, and Moreno Guttenberger, rhythm guitar, along with Jan Jankeje, bass, will present the internationally renowned jazz violinist Florin Niculescu.
