Audience and press were in agreement: a truly grand theater! While the audience demanded encores every night with standing ovations, the Hamburger Abendblatt stated: "Even a real gift for Christmas grinches" and "Hardly can the escape from Christmas stress end more beautifully," according to Die Welt.

Theater is illusion – always. And Christmas is magical – sometimes. But the grand Christmas show at the First Stage Theater brought magical illusion to the highest level on stage. Sometimes enchanting and captivating, sometimes touching and teasing, but also cheeky and full of humor – around 50 students from the Stage School Hamburg played virtuously on the keyboard of emotions and showcased their dance, acting, and musical skills in 26 Christmas numbers.

Show duration including intermission: 2 hrs., 15 mins.

Please understand that NO admittance is possible after the start of the performance.

We would like to inform you that residential parking is available around the First Stage Theater. Visitors are allowed to park in the area but must purchase a parking ticket between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm. The maximum parking duration is 3 hours.

Hermann Mayer, State Minister of the Bavarian Government, thinks he is very clever and arranges a romantic adventure with the secretary of the coalition partner's chief at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Officially, he is of course at a debate in the plenary hall of the Maximilianeum. But his plans are literally shattered by a falling sliding window: a lifeless body is wedged between the windowsill and the window frame.
The headline "State Minister caught in sex orgy with secretary and corpse" is hardly beneficial for his further career. Therefore, he follows, like so many of his kind, the political survival mechanism of concealing, deceiving, and tricking. However, hiding his already nonexistent affair simultaneously from his unsuspecting wife, a suspicious hotel manager, a shrewd waitress, a jealous husband, a lovesick nurse, and an often unconscious private detective exceeds even the political pro Mayer.
His bumbling secretary Georg Huber adds to the chaos, causing the situation, to the pure delight of the audience, to spiral completely out of control. An absurd comedy according to all the rules of the art, staged at a fast pace by the Lindenthaler Volkstheater!

It all started with the Pogrom Night in 1938: people radicalized and sent millions to bureaucratically organized and industrially carried out death. But there were artists who, at the border of life, found the strength to write music, to oppose the horror. Erwin Schulhoff and Viktor Ullmann are two of these special artistic personalities. Their works are monuments that resonate to this day. And so, this concert, with its sometimes delicate, sometimes stirring sounds, is a particularly significant contribution in our concert year.

Dr. Henry Jekyll has invited to a festive evening at his London mansion. Surrounded by good friends, he intends to announce his engagement to Lisa St. James. However, a dark shadow quickly falls over the merry gathering: Dr. Jekyll suffers from unexplained attacks and appears to be increasingly losing control. Some guests reveal themselves as shady figures. The prostitute Lucy Sharpness bursts into the celebration claiming to be the host's true fiancee. And who is the eerie Mr. Hyde, who seems to know the mansion inside out? Terrible murders take place, and a dark secret is uncovered. What was supposed to be a joyful celebration turns into a night of horror...

The Chaos Unity Festival is going into its third round and this year the program is expanded with international acts from the hard metallic school!

Let's start with this year's lineup (two more bands will be announced shortly):

DARK ABSENCE

Last year Dark Absence unfortunately had to cancel very last-minute due to illness, and the Lohr Noisecore duo KUDER filled the open slot. New year, new luck:

The young Melodic Death Metal formation Dark Absence from Würzburg will open the reign. Last year, the current single "At the Behest of Fear" went online on all major streaming platforms.

DEIMOS´ DAWN

Marc Grewe (ex-Morgoth, Insidious Disease, Asinhell), Germany's number one growler, will come to Lohr. He will spit venom and bile, this time with an incredibly versatile vocal performance in a pure thrash metal band of classic influence. Classic but not in a retro sense. Deimos´ Dawn has their own formula, even though they can't hide the influence of classics like "Coma Of Souls," "Seasons in the Abyss," or "Arise."

Those who were possibly positively surprised by Bonded last year may have a similar experience with Deimos´ Dawn in November. Musicians with great experience and joy in playing!

FLESHLESS (cz)

Fleshless, just like the hosts Final Breath, have been causing chaos in the scene since 1993.

Starting as a Grindcore band, over the years the guys have shifted more towards brutal/technical Death Metal, as clearly demonstrated by their latest EP "Kingdom of the Liars" (2022) at the highest technical level. A recommended track from their middle phase, which is sure to incite a grind mosh pit live: "D-Flesh"!

FINAL BREATH

As hosts and alongside Thomas Funck the initiators of the CHAOS UNITY Festival, Final Breath will of course be back on stage for their annual homecoming show. Founded in Lohr in 1913, Final Breath has gradually made a name for themselves in the international metal scene. With their unique formula, they unleash an explosive mix of Death and Thrash Metal and can look back on an impressive list of club shows, tours, as well as big and small festivals.

None other than Frank Healy (ex-Benediction), Scott Fairfax (ex-Benediction (live)), Spiky T. An evening with Hillu's Herzdropfa has almost cult status in the region. Now, the successful comedy duo is also coming to Bavaria!

For many years, Hillu Stoll and Franz Auber have thrilled audiences of all ages as the Swabian comedy duo "Hillu's Herzdropfa." In Bavaria, they are best known from BR television and the show "Schwaben weissblau, hurra und helau."

It will be exciting to see which characters "Hillu's Herzdropfa" will present on stage in their program "Dobblet gmobblet." The seasoned comedians blend their keen sense for comedic moments and encounters with witty quick-wit and subtle irony. The A-Cappella German Poets

In German-speaking pop music, big names such as Clueso, Kraftclub, Cro, or Joris shape the great songwriter music culture of the New German Poets.

The Freiburg vocal band Anders can be seen as part of the same musical context. They are Germany's A-Cappella German Poets. Their style: Catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics. Anders write smart pop songs in German, taking the A-cappella format seriously, and being more than just instrument-imitating covers of current chart hits or nostalgic songs about the flora on the balcony. In doing so, they not only enchant their audience at their own concerts but also as the opening act for bands like Revolverheld or Thees Uhlmann.

With their new program "Short Break," the Freiburg group presents what they do best: Songs that touch the heart. And once again, with full force. The five singers become musical storytellers, writing their own stories, sometimes melancholic-profound, sometimes humorous-ironic, and occasionally heartbreakingly funny. They become observers of the normal madness called life in a poetic way.
