Mr. Käseweis is desperate. Always this noise! Someone is constantly playing football, listening to music, or dancing! Why can't nothing just happen for once?

And exactly that happens. A little NOTHING comes to visit and eats Mr. Käseweis's television, his chips, and finally the house, the street, the city. Mr. Käseweis flees! But where to? And how can he get rid of the NOTHING?

NOTHING is a puppet theater for young audiences. The object theater artist ANDREU ANDREU and sound designer Peter Breitenbach embark on a journey into the depths of NOTHING. There they meet seagulls, fish, and a plug that connects the ocean to space.

Skemer is the band project of singer Kim Peers and guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove, founded in 2019.

Mathieu Vandekerckhove is a guitarist and founding member of the post-metal band Amenra, as well as Absent In Body, and has his solo project Syndrome.

Kim Peers has traveled the world for several high-fashion magazines, runways, and campaigns, such as Vogue and Prada. Peers has also released some songs under her name, played in the No-Wave band Crimpers, and has discovered DJing for herself.

They quickly realized that their individual strengths complemented each other perfectly. Two very different worlds collide, leading to minimalist dark-wave deconstructions that are equally brutal and erotic.

This duality is also reflected in the name Skemer, which, in addition to its obvious English meaning "Intriguer," also means "Twilight" in Mathieu's mother tongue, West Flemish.

The band recorded their debut album just a few months after meeting, and this sense of urgency is reflected in their bubbling live performances, where Peers' seductive vocals blend with Vandekerckhove's sober beats into a transcendent rage.

The debut album "Benevolence" was released in 2019 on Avant! Records.
Followed by "Toasts & Sentiments" in 2023 on He.She.They Records.

The Viennese duo Zack Zack Zack is Yiğit Bakkalbaşi and Cemgil Demirtaş. The band was formed in 2019 as an art project for a performance at the Vienna Art School. In 2021, they released their first music video for the song "Bütün," attracting immediate international attention; their debut album "Album 1" was also released in 2021.

Zack Zack Zack brings fresh music beyond boundaries and labels, inspired by classic synthesizer sounds and traditional oriental musical instruments that evoke their Turkish roots.

They have already performed at Popfest 2021, ORF Radiokulturhaus, and Waves Vienna Festival 2022, and have been interviewed by ORF, FM4, GoTV, The Gap, and Furio Magazine. Their new album "Album 2" was released on May 26, 2023, via Trost Record (Vienna, AT).

The most-walked woman in the world
When Christine Thürmer is born in 1967, there is nothing to indicate that she would one day become the most-walked woman in the world. Supernatural Talent - "You can't show virtuosity in Beethoven's concert, you can only show yourself": This is how María Dueñas, born in 2002 in the southern Spanish city of Granada and one of the most exciting violinists of her generation, formulates it, poised for a brilliant future. The way Dueñas masterfully conveys her personality through sound was also highlighted by the reviewer of the "Badische Zeitung," praising her playing as "slim, delicate, and profound," almost unearthly, and attributing to her an "astonishing musical maturity": "Beethoven's Violin Concerto sounds like you have never heard it before." Years ago, the Spanish "Correo" feuilleton also celebrated the "natural, or rather supernatural talent" presented by the then 17-year-old. It's no wonder that the renowned label Deutsche Grammophon quickly signed the multitalented violinist to an exclusive contract after her victory at the Yehudi Menuhin Competition 2021. To kick off, a live recording from the Wiener Musikverein was released, where Dueñas displayed her compositional imagination as a soloist with the Wiener Symphoniker - with newly written cadenzas for each movement of Beethoven's soloist.

Together with their First Guest Conductor Marie Jacquot, the Wiener Symphoniker present an evening of concerts in Freiburg that draws inspiration from the Danube metropolis, which has also been Dueñas' chosen home since 2016: In addition to Beethoven's Violin Concerto premiered in Vienna, the Adagio from Bruckner's Symphony No. 7 will be heard, arranged by Ferdinand Löwe, Bruckner's master student, for the composer's blessing at the Vienna Karlskirche after his death in 1896. Deep appreciation is also evident in the orchestral version of Johannes Brahms' Piano Quartet in G minor, arranged by the native Viennese Arnold Schönberg. Otto Klemperer praised it with the verdict: "One may not want to hear the original quartet again, as beautiful as this arrangement sounds."

Known to many as the funniest couple in Swabia: Alois and Elsbeth Gscheidle, famous for numerous TV appearances!
During their performances, they not only put themselves in the spotlight but also their audience, calling it "Swabian cabaret up close"!
One of the reasons they are so well-received by their audience is that the Gscheidles also poke fun at themselves with their jokes. In a loving and charming way, they characterize certain ways of thinking and living of their compatriots, often hitting the nail on the head! Klanggewalt of a sonorous kind has long been considered a purely male domain. The Polish bassist and composer Kinga Glyk proves the opposite. This was already noted years ago by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. After contributions in the “heute journal” (“the great hope in European jazz,” according to ZDF), in Deutschlandfunk, and in the “Spiegel,” after a performance at the “Jazz Open” festival in Stuttgart and a record deal with a major label, Kinga Glyk has long outgrown the status of a jazz prodigy. The twenty-seven-year-old, who gained her first stage experience at the age of twelve in her father’s band, the vibraphonist and drummer Irek Glyk, can now be seen on concert stages around the world.

Kinga Glyk possesses flawless technique on her instrument. She presents jazz and funk-inspired instrumental songs that sound incredibly contemporary, unique in arrangement and aesthetics. Kinga Glyk forms a nearly symbiotic unit with her instrument, setting the tone between lead and rhythm, driven by catchy melodies and a bouncy groove.

“When I was a little girl, I always pretended to be a bassist myself, and I always knew I wanted to play bass. For me, it is the best instrument in the world,” says Kinga Glyk. She cites the legendary Jaco Pastorius as an inspiration and her greatest influence. Let’s look forward to another great jazz evening at Gschwender musikwinter.

Could the hole have been prevented if it had been noticed earlier? Is this just a temporary hole, or the beginning of the end? What comes after the hole and who is actually to blame? The architect? A mold fungus? Or did the dachshund dig it? And is it even worth painting the walls in this run-down apartment? Before Kinseher answers these far-reaching questions, she first opens a bottle of champagne: It's time to say goodbye!
