Pablo Brooks from Düsseldorf has played nearly fifty headline concerts in the past two years with his band, often selling out venues from Vienna to Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and London. Largely unnoticed by the business and media, but deeply loved by numerous fans. This summer, he presents his second EP, "Pleaser." Pleaser represents the feeling of getting lost in a big city at the age of 20. Being so lost that one secretly hopes to be found by other people. It's about relationships, with lovers and friends, but above all about the confusing relationship with oneself. How one feels love and desire, pleasure and anger, and self-sabotage in the painfully long process of coming of age. Pablo's songs are always very visually oriented, like scenes from a neon-flickering night. Most of the songs for this record were written on the train, either on the way to a party or heading home. And there is always a longing, especially for things one will never reach. This whirlpool of emotions is immersed in thick international pop music, but also draws inspiration from dance music, indie rock, folk, or synth-pop. Catchy melodies meet storytelling lyrics about youth, loss, mental health struggles, or queerness, radiating so disarmingly, pointedly, and brutally from the life world of peers that the entire audience can sing along from the first to the very last line at concerts. Four brothers, four personalities, 4x4 instruments, and tons of talent: The four "Hanke Brothers" promise nothing less than "Unheard Music Enjoyment." Classical, pop, jazz, techno? It doesn't matter! The groove connects everything. The four highly talented brothers play virtuously across all genre boundaries. Every concert of the "Boyband of Classical Music" becomes a delightful feast for all senses. Unexpected, unbelievable, unheard of.

Diversity, experimental spirit, pushing new boundaries, that is the life elixir of the brothers. Fabian, Jonathan, Lukas, and David play tuba, piano, viola, recorder. Each of them does it in their own special way - most impressively as a team on stage. No concert is like the other, no piece is as expected, and the instruments don't always play what you expect.

The four biographies are as colorful as the repertoire of the exceptional ensemble. Together, they have found a "musical dialect" on stage that has not been heard before. Scheytt is one of the most sought-after musicians in the European blues and boogie scene. For over 20 years, he has been a guest not only as a soloist but also with his trio Boogie Connection in jazz clubs and at festivals in Germany and abroad - appearing four times at the world-famous New Orleans Jazz Festival in Ascona.

Scheytt has received multiple awards. His CD Blues Colours was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award and he won the German Blues Award in 2015.

Jever Pilsener comes from Jever. And that is located in a very special part of Germany: in Friesland. The water, the air, the light, and not least the rough climate have shaped the Frisian landscape and Jever Pilsener. We invite you to explore the secrets of Jever - on an exciting brewery tour!

The Friesian-bitter experience

The brewery tour begins with a knowledgeable guided tour through the historic brewery museum and through our modern brew house from the brewing plant to the bottling, where up to 60,000 bottles are filled per hour.
The ongoing bottle filling is very likely on weekdays, but due to possible maintenance, cleaning, and setup work, this is not guaranteed in every case.
Especially on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, the bottling is relatively likely not to be in operation. We ask for your understanding in advance.

After the tour, we offer a tasting (30 minutes) of our Jever beers with a choice of two glasses of Jever Pilsener, Jever Fun, Jever Fun Lemon, Jever Fun Blood Orange, or Jever Light for everyone aged 16 and over. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available.
In addition, our brewery taproom serves a homemade snack and presents a souvenir.
For children and teenagers (up to 15 years), a soft drink and a small snack will be served.

One last word:
Safety is very important to us. We ask that during the tour, you strictly follow the instructions of the brewery guides. Wearing sturdy footwear and carrying an umbrella in bad weather is recommended. As a precaution, we would like to point out that our brew house is not wheelchair accessible. There are longer walking paths and stairs to navigate. Therefore, the tour is unfortunately not suitable for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users.

How about a visit to our Jever Shop? Just a few steps from our brewery, you will find everything a Jever fan desires. We are open from 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday and from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.

Brazilian rhythms at the Reithalle Rastatt.

"Music connects souls, writes new stories and allows us to dream," says singer, guitarist and composer Ítalo Caramuru, who will be a guest at the Reithalle Rastatt on October 12 with his band. Coming from the northeast of Brazil, he has found his new home in Germany. As the founder and bandleader of Forró de KA, he gained extensive experience on international stages in Europe. It was from this band that he began his solo career as CARAMURU.

CARAMURU is the fusion of Brazilian rhythms with innovative sounds – a merging of Afrobeat, Samba, Electropop, Jazz and R&B. This Brazilian crossover is inspired by great artists such as Gilberto Gil, Jorge Ben Jor, Elza Soares, Sergio Mendes, Djavan and Lenine – focusing on the tradition and future of Brazilian music. With the aim of awakening feelings to connect people, the band creates sounds that go straight to the heart and come from the heart. Ítalo's emotive voice transforms strength into sensitivity and longing into passion.

The band lineup consists of not only very talented professional musicians, but also individuals with a shared history, friendship, and common roots: Bruno Frey Nascimento on guitar (BR, DE), Johann Ahl de Oliveira on bass (BR/DE), Steffen Schuhmacher on keyboard and synths (DE), and Michael Mischl on drums (DE).
