Those familiar with the long-running TV hit show "Zeiglers wunderbare Welt des Fußballs" know what to expect live this time as well: rugged types, iconic quotes, and plenty of crap goals.

The stated goal remains to delve into the fascination of football. Not so easy, as commercialization is increasing, the rules are becoming more complex, and in the end, the champions are always Bayern - even if they occasionally lose the 'n'.

But with football, it's like Darth Vader: you might not see it right away, but there is still a lot of good in it. And who could convey that better than Germany's "fairest pro" Arnd Zeigler? Arnd takes the audience of his live shows into the exciting realm of football, showing all its highs and lows - always with humor and his typical ironic twinkle in the eye, which we have known and loved for over 15 years.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the demolition of the city wall of Trier in 2025, an exhibition at the city museum deals with the city wall and the development of the city. Starting from the remnants of the wall that came to light during excavations in the cellar of the Simeonstift during the construction work for the extension, which clearly shows the intertwining of antiquity, the Middle Ages, and modernity, the exhibition connects to the time of the wall's demolition and the present.

Welcome to the realm of knowledge in the Baroque era: Stepping onto creaking floorboards into the quiet grandeur of our historical library hall, one is immediately enveloped by the collective knowledge of the Early Modern period. Like stage sets in a Baroque theater, the original bookshelves jut into the space, housing around 50,000 books from all fields of knowledge. Behind unassuming book spines lie remarkable treasures, such as the first German Bible printed in America.

At the end of the 17th century, the orphanage's library was established as one of the first public libraries in Germany. Primarily through donations, book exchanges, and their own publications, the library grew so rapidly that within a few years, it was comparable to significant German university libraries. In 1728, it received its own building, which is considered the oldest surviving secular library structure in Germany. Not only in recent times has the library been visited by guests and researchers from around the world: Albrecht von Haller, Johann Joachim Winckelmann, and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe all admired its bibliophilic treasures. We present a selection of them for you in rotating cabinet exhibitions in the former reading room of the library.

The Art and Natural History Chamber is considered the oldest German museum room. It was established by August Hermann Francke for educational purposes and is now once again set up according to the original museum concept of the 18th century in its historical location in the attic of the Historical Orphanage.

Eighteen richly decorated collection cabinets house approximately 3000 natural specimens, curiosities, and artifacts. They provide a unique impression of a Baroque cabinet of curiosities. Unlike modern museums, the chamber follows an encyclopedic collecting approach. A distinction is made between natural specimens and artifacts. The natural specimens are divided into rocks, plants, and animals, while the artifacts are categorized into visual arts, calligraphy, coins, everyday culture, and clothing. The goal was to create a mirror image of the world: a microcosm that made the macrocosm as the wonderful creation of God tangible.

In a series of events, art projects take place around the Art and Natural History Chamber. In the so-called "Contemporary Reflections on the Art and Natural History Chamber," foundations invite artists to engage in an artistic dialogue with the chamber.

Palace-like, the orphanage rises on Franckeplatz. Then as now, it is the centerpiece of the Francke Foundations. Erected in 1698 as the first building of the school city, it represents a new facet of European Baroque, combining confident representation without extravagant ornamentation and setting the tone for orphanage architecture.

Today, the orphanage is our museum and cultural center. Right from the start, two permanent exhibitions guide you through the history of the foundation and the global impact of Pietism. On the first floor, the former prayer and singing hall surprises with its bright architecture. Today, it enjoys an excellent reputation as a concert hall due to its fantastic acoustics. In the adjacent conference rooms, a photo exhibition showcases the impressive renovation work since the foundations were reestablished in 1991. The second floor is reserved for our changing special exhibitions, which provide insight into important themes of the foundation's history from both a historical and contemporary perspective. Passing through the art and natural history collections in the attic, you reach the balcony via a narrow wooden staircase. Here, a wide view opens up over the impressive ensemble with school buildings from three centuries. There is also a splendid panorama of the Old Town of Halle from here. In the basement, children can explore their own paths in the Krokoseum.

What power does the word have? For Halleschen Pietismus, the word was of central importance. On the ground floor of the Historical Orphanage, we show you how August Hermann Francke's reform movement could spread around the world.

Francke developed central reformative goals of Martin Luther's with Halleschen Pietismus. His approach was as clear as it was revolutionary: Every person should find God through their own Bible reading. However, for this to happen, everyone - boys and girls alike - had to learn to read, everyone should be able to afford their own Bible and it should be printed in their own native language. Therefore, Francke established schools for all social classes, printed millions of German-language People's Bibles, and created an international network through which the Bible was translated into many other languages. His educational initiative allowed a broad population to engage with the word. In the 18th-century evangelical parsonages, the authors of the Romantic and Enlightenment periods were highly regarded. A culture of self-reflection spread in Pietism, which was reflected in diaries and personal testimonies, giving us remarkable insights into the spiritual life of people of that time. Symbolically, the power of the word is also evident in the meticulously restored pulpit from the Church of St. Ulrich in Halle, where Francke preached from 1715 and which you can admire in the exhibition.

4 talers and 16 groschen are considered the founding capital of the Francke Foundations. How an unparalleled school city grew from this unexpected donation to a simple pastor in Glaucha can be discovered on the ground floor of the Historical Orphanage. A multimedia installation and numerous extraordinary objects will transport you into the fascinating founding and impact history of Francke's work. Because what began with a school for the poor and an orphanage, developed in a few decades into a true reform project that was based on education: Over 2,000 students learned in various schools, specially constructed economic buildings, a hospital, and a pharmacy guaranteed the care of over 3,000 people on the premises, unique cultural-historical collections in the library and chamber of wonders were established, and Francke's ideas were spread within and outside Europe. August Hermann Francke wanted nothing less than a "world change through personal change." Discover everything he set in motion through this.

Well, that's what Leo Tolstoy once said, who, however, kicked the bucket seven years before the start of the Soviet Union. Nikita Miller is convinced: If that guy had lived a little longer, he definitely wouldn't have said that.

When Nikita came to Germany from Ukraine with his parents at the age of five, he had to realize over the years: a person may be able to leave the Soviet Union, but the Soviet Union can never leave the person. No wonder Nikita's grandpa, after years of rigorous copying from the Duden, still doesn't speak a word of German today.

The expectations of the West were high, the opportunities seemed endless. But Nikita Miller has understood: Sitting between two cultures is terribly exhausting. The family pulls on one side, the new life on the other. So he diligently tinkered in his thought laboratory, mixing things together here and there, taking things out there, and sprinkling a bit of glitter over it.

He has mixed the best of German and Soviet and learned to love and appreciate both cultures with all their beauty and diversity, with all their quirks and inconveniences. Because we all have to admit at some point: the cultures are not so different after all. Pelmeni are just little dumplings.

Australia - AUS Time Down Under
Do you also dream of just getting away - leaving the everyday stress behind and simply driving as far away as possible?
The Berlin photographer Roland Marske fulfilled this dream when he traveled around Australia for a year. To get to know the land and its people, he worked as a German teacher, dug for opals, herded cattle on a remote station, tapped beer in a quirky Outback pub, and guided tourists on a crocodile farm.
Since then, he is repeatedly drawn for shorter breaks back to the Fifth Continent, to immerse himself in the bustling city life of Sydney or Melbourne, to be introduced by Aboriginal people to their Dreamtime myths, to encounter kangaroos, koalas, and crocodiles, and to explore the shimmering Outback on adventurous tracks by four-wheel drive.
"AUS Time Down Under" is an exciting multi-vision show for all those who dream of traveling, maintain their curiosity about the distant and unknown, or maybe even want to dare to take a temporary break themselves.

Dizziness or Vertigo in Latin refers to the sensation of spinning or swaying, the feeling of not being able to move securely in space, or the sensation of impending unconsciousness. Dizziness also colloquially means deceit. Hinnerk Köhn stands for both.

Having grown up with the belief that he would make it all the way to the top, he learned the magical rule "Fake it till you make it" and fought his way into the stand-up comedy scene as a mega-privileged white, young man with minimal efforts. "Fought" is a very strong word in this context.

But that's all over now. Hinnerk no longer wants to lie. Hinnerk wants to be even more honest than in his last two shows. He wants to show himself on stage, shed the show-Hinnerk and present the real Hinnerk. And fortunately, the real one is even funnier than the old one. Perhaps a bit crazier, a bit more reckless, but definitely better.

While other people are having fun, Hinnerk despairs at himself and tries to somehow draw something positive from his misfortune. And people love watching him do it. And maybe he'll even sing a little.

With over 2,000 shows in 35 countries and more than 10 million albums sold, GREGORIAN is the world's most successful choir. In 2025, GREGORIAN will celebrate a very special anniversary - a quarter of a century, which the exceptional singers will honor with a new tour. Frank Peterson says: "This Greatest Hits tour is a celebration of GREGORIAN's history and successes, as well as an opportunity to thank our fans around the world who show their love and support by coming back to our shows time and time again. The compilation of this anniversary show will be a spectacular journey through our band's history - a retrospective of some of the highlights from around 20 productions that GREGORIAN has performed in the last 25 years. We can't wait to present this new show to our audience and revive these wonderful highlights." For the international music and show producer, the anniversary is a great validation. The idea for GREGORIAN originated when Frank Peterson visited the royal monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain in 1989. Walking through the medieval monastery and castle complex while listening to current music on his walkman, he found the inspiration for the sound experiment of blending ancient Gregorian music with modern entertainment music. Peterson first implemented the idea with Michael Cretu and the global sound phenomenon "Enigma." The first album, "MCMXC a.D.," was released in 1990 and quickly became a worldwide success. "MCMXC a.D." reached number 1 in 41 different countries and received 57 platinum and 45 gold certifications. It is considered the most successful German album of all time. This gigantic success paved the way to further develop the musical idea with GREGORIAN and establish it as a standalone music act. In 1999, with the beginning of production for the first album, "Masters Of Chant," Frank Peterson seamlessly continued the success of "Enigma." In the following years, GREGORIAN has sold over 10 million records worldwide with 18 CDs and 7 DVDs, achieving gold and platinum status in 24 different countries. By the end of 2024, and in time for the anniversary tour, Frank Peterson will release a new GREGORIAN album.

The album will include new songs as well as new recordings of some well-known GREGORIAN classics. Frank Peterson has been active in various musical projects and international productions for over 30 years. He has worked as a producer with Sarah Brightman, Enigma, Justin Timberlake, Andrea Bocelli, Paul Stanley (Kiss), Backstreet Boys, Alannah Myles, José Carreras, Tom Jones, Plácido Domingo, Errol Brown, Ofra Haza, Sandra, Josh Groban, Marky Mark, I Muvrini, Florent Pagny, and Ricardo Cocciante, among others. Since 2005, Peterson has also been working as a show producer for Sarah Brightman and other top stars. This means that annual ticket holders no longer have to worry about renewing their season ticket. Of course, you can cancel the season ticket subscription for each season by May 31st. This can be done either by post or by fax.
Additional services:
The season ticket entitles access to the championship home games of the U19 team as well as the U17 team.

VRS Ticket Information:
Viktoria's season ticket also entitles you to use public transport in the VRS area this season. The ticket also serves as a ticket for the journey to and from the venue, from 4 hours before the start of the event until 3:00 a.m. of the following day.

The combination ticket is only valid for the printed validity period and scope for a round trip!
