We offer interested individuals (max. 25 participants) the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the Europa-Park Stadium.
In addition to a tour in the circulation and the stands, you can visit the press conference area, the guest box, and the mixed zone. At the end of the tour, you will go through the players' tunnel to the field and the substitute benches.

- Refreshments: You may bring your own drinks and food to the stadium tour. There are no refreshment options available at the stadium itself.
- Alcoholized or otherwise misbehaving visitors may be refused participation in the stadium tour.
- Children under 14 years may only participate in our stadium tours when accompanied by an adult.
- Please note that the stadium tours cannot be conducted entirely barrier-free. For wheelchair users and individuals with limited mobility, we offer a special, barrier-free tour that is adapted to the participants' needs. The tour can be requested through a dedicated form.
- For safety and event reasons, there may be short-term restrictions on individual areas along the tour route in exceptional cases.
- The use of image, film, and audio recording devices for commercial purposes is prohibited. Private photo capturing is allowed during the tour.

The two exceptional youth ensembles from Freiburg – the Jazzhaus Youth Orchestra (including tours to England, Greece) and the Junior Jazz Choir (collaboration with Max Mutzke, New York Voices, or Roger Treece) – have joined forces to spread the enthusiasm for jazz further. An ambitious repertoire will be presented on stage, which considers both great figures of jazz history (Count Basie or John Coltrane) and current fusion phenomena (Snarky Puppy or Kokoroko). Most of the arrangements are from the pens of the two ensemble leaders, Will Bartlett and David Brooke.

JASSA (Berlin) is a self-organized upper voice ensemble of young FLINTA* individuals that combines feminism with challenging choral music. In two to three project phases each year, the choir develops programs spanning from jazz/pop to classical choral music, focusing on female and queer composers. JASSA values empowerment, participation, and a safer space for non-binary and queer individuals. Through scenic work, social and political themes are explored. Since 2021, Johanna Brüll, a choral conducting student at HfM Hanns Eisler, has been musically leading the ensemble.

The BFV Festival Choir is open to all singers of all ages and skill levels from near and far who wish to sing together and get to know great conductors. During the festival, the choir studies several songs as well as improv and sound collages and presented them for the first time in the matinee at the Catholic church.

The Real Group (SWE) was founded in 1984 by five music students in Stockholm. Today, the ensemble consists of Clara Fornander, Axel Berntzon, Daniele Dees, Joanné Nugas, and Johannes Rückert Becker. With their concerts, workshops, and publications, they captivate their audiences worldwide. Their aim is to connect art with human rights, ecological and global awareness, as well as a feminist mindset. Their repertoire ranges from jazz classics to pop and original compositions like “Chili Con Carne” or “Words.”

Olicía (DEU), the duo of singers and multi-instrumentalists Fama M'Boup and Anna-Lucia Rupp, combines folk, pop, soul, jazz, and spoken word with a unique loop station technique. Their sound is shaped by multi-voiced harmonies, vocal percussion, and a wide range of instrumentation from synthesizers to clarinet. Their debut album "Liquid Lines" (2021) experimented with double song versions, while "Out of the Blue" (2024) takes new paths by connecting music with other art forms.

Voice Event (Freiburg) is a youth choir founded by Christian Geugelin in 1998, consisting of about 35 singers from over 15 regional schools. Since 2019, it has been supported by the city and looks back on numerous successes in competitions, concert tours, and festivals. Under the direction of Sebastian Oberlin, Voice Event presents a diverse a cappella program that is also available on streaming platforms. The enthusiasm and vocal diversity of the young singers make the choir a unique experience for the audience.

The vocal group Còig (NDL) was founded in 2018 and consists of Madeleine Bletterman (soprano), Annemarie Homan (mezzo-soprano), Mariëtte Koster (alto), Harro Verhoeven (tenor), and Mark Vermeeren (bass) — five singers with a rich treasure of vocal and life experience. Their a cappella repertoire includes melodic pop and jazz songs, from captivating ballads to swinging up-tempo pieces. Highlights include performances at the BALK TOPfestival, Christmas in Antwerp, and a concert in the Stinger Dome in Ede.

frei nach den Brüdern Grimm

Die jüngste Tochter von drei Müllerskindern erbt nach dem Tod des Vaters nur einen Kater, der aber hat es faustdick hinter den Ohren: Er kann sprechen, ist gewitzt und voller Tatendrang.
Um zu verhindern, dass er zu Fellhandschuhen verarbeitet wird, verspricht er der Müllerstochter alles Glück
der Erde. Mit Hut und Stiefeln zieht er los, um ihrer beider Glück zu machen. Eine abenteuerliche, turbulente Reise beginnt.
Selbstbewusst schreckt der Kater nicht vor einflussreichen Königen, Köchinnen, Prinzen und sogar bösen Zauberern zurück. Wird es dem gestiefelten Kater gelingen, den Koch des Königs vor der drohenden Kündigung zu bewahren, und dem König seine Lieblingsspeise, die so begehrten und nicht auffindbaren Rebhühner zu fangen? Die mächtige Zauberin Osiris weiß er klug und gewitzt zu überlisten, um der staunenden Müllerstochter zu ihrem Glück zu verhelfen. Doch wie wird die Müllerstochter zur angeblichen Gräfin von Carabas?

Das bekannte Märchen von der Suche nach dem Glück ist die Geschichte rund um einen blitzgescheiten Kater,
der mit Mut, Witz und freundschaftlichem Miteinander viele Abenteuer besteht.

Experience the picturesque and green Freiburg on a beautiful tour through the old town. Your tour guide will show you the famous "Freiburger Bächle," the small waterways along the streets and alleys, the winding "Gässle," and the many colorful Rhine pebble mosaics that give Freiburg its special flair. Let yourself be led to the Münsterplatz with its beautiful bourgeois houses and secular buildings, and also see the traditional farmers' market (in the morning) and the numerous cafes.

The tour starts at the Rathausplatz, where your guide is already waiting for you. There are already numerous historical buildings to discover on the Rathausplatz. From here, the tour continues over the Kaiser-Joseph-Strasse, the former "Große Gass'" of medieval Freiburg, to the Freiburg Minster, the cultural center of the historical old town and an outstanding example of medieval Gothic architecture.

Discover together with the guide the bizarrely shaped waterspouts, the delicate church tower, and the colorful farmers' market on the Münsterplatz. Afterwards, explore some of the historical sights around the Minster: the historic Kaufhaus, the Alte Wache, the "Haus zum schönen Eck," and many more. Then continue on to the Konviktstraße, one of the most beautiful alleys in Freiburg, towards the "craftsmen's quarter."

Musical ODILIA
Wonders happen for those who can believe
The production ODILIA is a musical narrative about the life and work of Saint Odilia. The reason for producing this musical was the long-held wish of Gabi Seitz and Karlheinz Barbo to present the moving life story of the patroness of Alsace and of eyesight, Saint Odilia, in a musical.

According to the story from the 10th century, Odilia was born at Hohenburg, in the municipality of Obernai. She was the daughter of Duke Eticho and his wife Bereswinde and was born blind. For this reason, Eticho wanted to have her killed. However, her mother saved her by having the child brought to the monastery of Palma, which would later be dedicated to Odilia, in Baume-les-Dames on the Doubs. There, at the age of 12, Odilia regained her sight after being baptized by Bishop Erhard of Regensburg. Odilia’s brother Hugo had Odilia brought to Hohenburg against their father's instructions. The angry father struck Hugo, causing him to fall with his head onto a stone and die.

Odilia had to flee from Hohenburg because she did not want to accept her father’s marriage plans. She managed to hide in a crevice near the present-day chapel of St. Ottilien in Freiburg im Breisgau in the Musbach Valley. The father was now convinced that Odilia was under God's protection and handed over Hohenburg to her. Odilia founded the women's monastery and became its first abbess. At the foot of Mount Odilien, she established a second monastery. Her grave on Mount Odilien remains one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in France.

The musical brings this moving life story of Saint Odilia to life and makes it accessible through storytelling and music in today’s style. The lyrics were written by Gabi Seitz, the music was composed by Karlheinz Barbo, and the story was authored by Elfi Wittner.
