The Gebirgsmusikkorps from Garmisch-Partenkirchen is expected at the benefit concert of the War and Soldiers’ Comradeship Altötting. At the spring concert under the direction of Major Piehlmayer, the Gebirgsmusikkorps will demonstrate that it can excite not only with marches but also with symphonic wind music, Bavarian sounds, or pop and swing. Both the traditional music group and the alphorn players are unique features in military music that show the orchestra's connection to the Alps – and the established bond with the location and its people. The Gebirgsmusikkorps has already performed military music from Bavaria at shows and other representative appearances in Halifax (Canada), El Paso (USA), Edinburgh (Great Britain), or in Israel. Deployments related to troop support have also taken the Gebirgsmusikkorps to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Kosovo.

Teacher, author, but above all cabaret artist! Teresa Reichl has already accomplished quite a bit at just 30 years old, and was recently awarded the Bavarian Cabaret Prize as a rising star. And yet – she experiences the same feeling that many of her peers know: somehow everything is going a bit differently than planned. Didn't we want to be married in our own home and watch the kids play by our 30th birthday? Sometimes life just gets in the way.

In “Bis jetzt”, Reichl summarizes what the plan actually was and what became of it. Self-reflectively and humorously, she talks about her life between village and big city, between roast pork and iced latte with oat milk, between classic literature and TikTok trends.

Mother's Day concert of the euregio oratorio choir & friends

With this concert project, the renowned euregio oratorio choir unites generations.

“Children sing for their mothers” - with this slogan, the concert choir is recruiting children, teenagers, and adults to stand together with the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic on the grand stage of the Kultur+Kongress Forum and present melodies from films and musicals. Through film music, emotions are intensified and remind us of shared trips to the cinema or movie nights. The most significant blockbusters thrive on a recognizable melody and instantly evoke images of scenes, such as “My heart will go on” from Titanic. Especially John Williams and Hans Zimmer enchant young and old with catchy tunes from Harry Potter, E.T., Star Wars, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Dune. A special highlight is a medley of the well-known melodies from Mary Poppins.

Experiencing the film melodies arranged specifically for choir by André Gold without the film and conjuring up scenes and emotions with closed eyes. Melodies from films like “Schindler's List” or “Conquest of Paradise” are indispensable - especially with “Conquest of Paradise” the power of music stands out, achieving worldwide success in contrast to the film. Through musical melodies from “Jesus Christ Superstar” or “Over the Rainbow,” religious and cultural elements are addressed in this concert. Music speaks all languages and thus stands in this program of the euregio oratorio choir FOR understanding and tolerance AGAINST discord and prejudice.

Sometimes combative, sometimes contemplative, sometimes gentle – always passionate: This is how the audience knows and loves the poet and musician Konstantin Wecker. He is not only a gifted songwriter but also an important voice of a whole generation. An unyielding admonisher and fighter against war and fascism. With his songs and texts, he has been advocating for justice and peace for many decades and for a more mindful, loving coexistence. With his new book Der Liebe zuliebe (bene! / Droemer Knaur) – Konstantin Wecker takes stock of his life.

Der Liebe zuliebe – a book about a lifelong search: for meaning, for the “more than everything,” for the great mystery, for love, for paths to inner and outer peace. For Wecker, love is the key to making life successful. And for the world to become different, to become better.

Konstantin Wecker does not shy away from including the dark times in his new book: Depression, melancholy, alcohol addiction, drug highs, numerous crashes, delusions, anger, sadness. He writes about a decades-long search and a turning point at the edge of the abyss.

True Crime fans can look forward to an exciting new live show:
"Toxic Love" with the popular podcast duo Jacqueline Belle and renowned defense attorney Dr. Alexander Stevens.

Following the great success of their last tour in the German-speaking area with over 100 stops and an audience of 90,000 viewers, the well-known True Crime duo is bringing real, captivating cases from Stevens' law firm back to the stage.

With their former "BAYERN 3 True Crime" podcast, they accompanied thousands of fans into the weekend each week with six successful seasons, featuring tragic yet often bizarre cases, and regularly landed in the top 10 of the German podcast charts.

On their new live tour, the focus is on the theme of toxic relationships. Pleasure and pain are often closely intertwined here, and the two will discuss potential consequences based on real cases they handled. Mysterious murders, years of investigations, sudden twists... It will be thrilling!

The band "I Dolci Signori" is one of the most successful Italo-pop groups in Europe. The formation of top musicians has been on tour continuously since 2002 and is extremely successful both nationally and internationally. He is compared to Piazzola and Paganini, yet the native South Tyrolean musician has created and developed a completely unmistakable music style over the years. We are talking about Herbert Pixner, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and namesake of the Herbert Pixner Project. The Herbert Pixner Project has now been one of the most successful representatives of "progressive folk music" for two decades. With playful-lascivious gentleness, powerful rock and blues riffs, brilliant technique, adventurous improvisational joy, and influences from tango, flamenco, and jazz, they have been delighting their audience for years. It sounds minimalist, craggy, dreamy, but always authentic. Various soundscapes are woven here, allowing space for gentle melancholy as well as for uninhibited outbursts. Claudia Koreck is on the road again in December with her Christmas concert. Her deep longing for the Christmas of her dreams flows into her songs in this very special Christmas program. These are not overloaded with bling and jingle bells; they are grounded, genuine, and emotional. A lot of folk, largely acoustic. “The album is a small Christmas miracle,” wrote the Süddeutsche Zeitung and added: “She doesn't just play a few Christmas classics; she has written a whole concept album with all her memories and feelings about Christmas. Such a variety is known from the wonderful soundtrack to the Christmas film 'Love Actually.' The award-winning musician can create an incredible intimacy live. With a bus full of instruments, she presents together with her fantastic musicians, as always entertainingly, empathetically, and powerfully, a very special concert experience.

Claudia Koreck is among the most well-known and versatile singer-songwriters in Germany. Since her breakthrough with the hit "Fliang" in 2007, she has secured a fixed place in the German music charts with 14 albums so far, including two successful children's albums. Her songs, often in the Bavarian dialect, combine folk, pop, and rock into a unique sound that touches generations. Claudia Koreck has received multiple awards for her musical successes, including precious metals. In 2024, she received the Bavarian Order of Merit and was honored with the Bavarian Culture Prize in the same year.

In addition to her own music, Claudia Koreck is active as a composer and lyricist for other artists. She has written songs for film and television and has collaborated with stars like Annett Louisan, Max Mutzke, Andreas Bourani, Helene Fischer, and Donavon Frankenreiter. Her reinterpretation of the classic "Lalelu" became the most successful Disney video in Germany on YouTube with over 150 million views. She also gained international attention: In 2012, she toured as a support act for The Eagles, recorded an album in Hawaii, and collaborated with renowned musicians from Los Angeles. Her current project "Kalender" is a musical annual cycle featuring twelve songs, each accompanied by impressive music videos. In his incomparable way, the renowned actor Christian Kohlund prepares the audience for the upcoming Christmas season with his selected texts and poems. With thoughtful and cheerful content, he touches the hearts of the listeners. In addition to his own texts that remind him of the pre-Christmas season during his childhood, texts from Stefan Zweig, Stefan Heim, Paulo Coelho, or Peter Bichsel, Christian Kohlund brings the Advent season closer to the audience from his homeland and other cultural circles.

“The Great Advent Concert with Christian Kohlund” in this unique form has a deeply significant meaning despite all its artistic brilliance: Times have become more transient - stress and hustle increasingly come to the forefront, especially during the Advent season. Therefore, this interpretation aims not only to prepare the listener for the upcoming Christmas season but also to awaken, affect, and provoke reflection.
