Lily and Emma have been best friends forever; almost just as long, Emma has had a crush on Lily's brother Chris. At a party, Chris and Emma finally get closer. But the next day, Emma can't remember what happened that night. Instead of being happily in love, she avoids Chris. When the police start asking questions, unrest breaks out at school. Lily is torn between her friend and her loyalty to her brother – until she thoughtlessly posts a photo that really fuels the rumors.

The play tells with great sensitivity about the encounter of two teenagers that could have been the beginning of a wonderful love story. Instead, they have to confront questions of self-determination and guilt.
