Text: Georg Veit & Hendrikje Balsmeyer, Music: Peter Maffay & Friends
Discover with ANOUK the new and eagerly anticipated children's musical for the whole family. Based on the popular children's books by Hendrikje Balsmeyer and Peter Maffay, an impressive production is currently being created for children from four years old.
Anouk is a lovable and helpful girl. However, there's one thing she doesn't like at all: going to bed! Much to her parents' surprise, Anouk suddenly goes to bed eagerly in the evening. What they don't know is that every night a magical door opens to a world full of fantasy and adventure for Anouk. She experiences exciting adventures, accompanies pirates on treasure hunts, overcomes challenges in the jungle, and meets colorful characters at the fair. Anouk forms new friendships and helps other children in difficult and challenging situations. When she tells her parents about her nightly adventures the next day, they always say, "Darling, you just dreamed it all!" But Anouk has "evidence" that this is not the case. And her grandma seems to know more about it...
ANOUK - The Children's Musical takes both young and old explorers into a imaginative world full of adventures where anything seems possible. With its characters and fascinating locations, the stage adaptation ignites the imagination and strengthens the belief in the power of dreams. The script comes from the pen of Georg Veit and Hendrikje Balsmeyer, while Peter Maffay and his team are responsible for the musical design. At the heart of the musical will be ten captivating and sophisticated children's songs by Peter Maffay & Friends, most of which are composed specifically for this production and contribute to the unique atmosphere. The audience will be transported into a world full of fantasy and adventure, where friendship, courage, and tolerance are at the forefront. The stage adaptation remains faithful to the successful children's books and conveys their valuable messages. The stage set combines traditional and modern elements. The imaginative costumes allow the six actors to slip into over 20 different roles. Intricate lighting design highlights the plot and creates an impressive atmosphere.
This production supports the Peter Maffay Foundation
The Peter Maffay Foundation, located in Tutzing on Lake Starnberg, was founded in 2000 and now includes four of its own facilities (Radeln/Romania, Pollença/Majorca, Jägersbrunn/Bavaria, and Gut Dietlhofen/Bavaria). Additionally, the foundation maintains numerous collaborations with institutions throughout Germany. The wide and simultaneously supported and protected natural environment of all foundation-owned facilities offers traumatized and disadvantaged children and adolescents, as well as families, the space during multi-day experience stays to "exchange", that is, to find words for their special, burdened situation. This should open up possibilities to find ways out of isolation and to grow from loneliness into community through shared experiences and empathy. Experience has shown that nature is the best therapist.
The work of the Peter Maffay Foundation is based on values such as: Tolerance • Justice •
Trust • Mindfulness • Appreciation • Sustainability • Respect • Compassion • Gratitude •
Creativity • Joy • Responsibility • Happiness • Friendship
