The interactive puppet theater piece "Pfoten weg!" empowers children against uncomfortable closeness, assaults, and sexualized violence. On the big action day, the city of Roth and Weißer Ring warmly invite all interested parents, children, and educators to come and watch the piece. Additionally planned are cat face painting and crafting activities, expert lectures and discussion opportunities, as well as a comprehensive supporting program that was created in collaboration with Baroness Magdalena von Schönau.

The interactive puppet theater piece lovingly and sustainably brings a serious topic to the stage: the prevention of sexualized violence.
The piece is performed by child protection expert Irmi Wette, owner and operator of FigurenZauberei. For her, "Pfoten weg!" is more than just theater. From the beginning, educator, artist, and puppeteer Irmi Wette has had the ambition and vision to completely free our society from violence against children. Because a violence-free childhood shapes our entire life. Irmi Wette tirelessly expands her portfolio. In the meantime, she presents her work internationally through a newly founded association. “Pfoten weg!” will soon be available worldwide as a feature film. "Interaction is a very important theme in my work. I interact with the children during the piece and also involve everyone else: local politicians, those affected, experts, parents, and educators. It is not enough to just empower the children. Everyone must be sensitized and trained," says Irmi Wette, who has already reached over 120,000 children across Germany with her piece.
Following the action day, performances will take place three times daily (8:30 am, 9:45 am, 11 am) from February 17 to 21. These are specifically for all preschool children as well as the first and second grade students in all Roth schools and facilities. They have already been specifically invited and can register directly with the city marketing representative Mark Bartholl. To ensure all facilities can participate, a shuttle bus will be offered, made possible through the support of the city utilities Roth.
