42.000 Kilometer Freiheit – Von Mexiko bis in die Arktis. - Live-Multivision
On the second leg of his world journey, photographer Martin Leonhardt's path continues to the north of the American continent.
Central America provides quirky stories of dark markets, fire-breathing volcanoes, and heated chicken fights. In Mexico, the months quickly pass on the way from the Atlantic to the Pacific coast, from the ruins of the Mayans to the celebrations of the Day of the Dead. The farewell from the colorful Latino world is difficult, but it is compensated by the vast landscapes and canyons of the northwest of the USA. Over thousands of lonely kilometers, the journey later continues into the Arctic. There, in the home of grizzly bears and wolves, along the Arctic Circle with its long days and colorful northern lights, the proximity to the great wilderness can be felt like never before.
