Pascal Violo travels through the mystical world of the Himalayas with its majestic mountains. He reports on fascinating cultures, remote villages, and his encounters with the people of this unique region. Nepal marks the start with a trekking tour to the base camp of Mount Everest. In Ladakh, Violo witnesses the potato harvest at an altitude of 4,000 meters, drinks butter tea with nomads in their yurts, and is initiated into the secrets of monastic life by a monk.
