Die Feuerzangenbowle - Eventkino mit Getränkeausschank

The songs alternate with fast-paced instrumental pieces, driven by the virtuosic interplay of fiddle and Uilleann Pipes. The Irish bagpipes, which were designated a UNESCO World Heritage in 2017, are played by CARA's new member Simon Pfisterer, who studied this extraordinary instrument at the University of Limerick.

Ulf Blanck works as an author and radio presenter for various broadcasting stations. He has published numerous children's and youth books and has been part of the author team since the start of the "Die drei ??? Kids" series. In addition to children's books, Ulf Blanck also writes screenplays and plays. Boris Pfeiffer worked as an assistant director and director at various theaters. In 1994, his first play for children premiered at the Berlin GRIPS Theater. In 2003, his first children's book was published: "Kira und Buttermilch." Since then, he has written over 80 plays and books and has authored over forty volumes of the cult series "Die drei ??? Kids."

Man muss für Werte eintreten - Theaterstück über den Mord an Walter Lübcke

On October 14, 2015, the then president of the Kassel regional government, Walter Lübcke, spoke at an event in Lohfelden. The politician informed about a refugee shelter that was to be opened shortly. Lübcke not only expressed his deep conviction with his words but also articulated the societal understanding of the rule of law and democracy. While a large part of the audience listened attentively, a group of right-wing extremists attempted to disrupt the event and provoke Lübcke. His response sparked a spiral of hate in right-wing forums. Four years later, Walter Lübcke is dead. Shot on his home terrace. The perpetrator, Stephan Ernst, was present at the event in Lohfelden. In the years from 2015 to 2019, he radicalizes and ultimately becomes a murderer. He is an example of a changing society and the increasing willingness to commit violence and murder in the right-wing extremist scene.

The State Theatre is developing a production based on the tragedy of the murder of Walter Lübcke about the rising right-wing extremist movements in Germany. The play focuses on the threats to our democracy, which are manifested, among other things, in the situation of politicians who face the worst insults and threats.

In his 8th stage program, Tobias Mann poses the most important question of our time: What is real and what is fake – and does it even matter anymore, when you can create much prettier truths with a click than reality offers? Are emotions real if they are generated by a social media algorithm? And what does REAL even mean, when you have to decide between your reflection and the edited profile picture online during your daily self-observation?

"Fake it `til you make it!" is the motto of the time. REAL was yesterday; the future belongs to FAKE. That's why, despite all the adversities of the present, Tobias Mann is in an extremely good mood and is sure: "Everything will be fine!" After all, even the biggest problems of this planet will be solved by computers in the future. Well, hopefully the computer doesn’t realize that humans are the problem.

In texts and songs, the man with the sunny disposition and unwavering humor dedicates himself to false truths and true fakes. An evening filled with profound thoughts, clever satire, and amusing nonsense from the expert – this is something you shouldn’t miss. Really now!

Olivier Chavet - »Racines« – Soulorientierter Jazz

»Racines« is a soul-oriented music project, whose pieces have arisen from a closeness to nature and moments of tranquility. No wonder, since music and nature are two elements that have shaped the composer Olivier Chavet both privately and professionally since childhood. The Belgian, born in Aachen, is both a trained musician and a studied agricultural scientist. In these two fields of activity, he experiences daily that everything is interconnected like a root network.

Thus, »Racines« (French for »roots«) is the artistic processing of themes that drive Olivier Chavet as a farmer and nature lover. The compositions express the longing for a simple life oriented towards nature. The root as the anchor of all life embodies the unity that we all so desperately need. The work is a journey from absolute moments of stillness, through a multitude of groovy, naturally rolling motifs, to powerful musical expression.

Chavet found the right musicians in Germany and Belgium. The instrumental foundation is formed by the jazz trio with pianist Sebastian Scobel, bassist Werner Lauscher, and Olivier Chavet on drums. The trio is complemented by Heidi Bayer on flugelhorn.

In this concert, we dedicate our attention to a very famous man: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Did he always have a favorite stuffed animal with him? Strolch sets out to search for clues and follows the path that little Mozart has already taken.

Unverschämt - Das Soloprogramm von Liedermacher FALK

The native Wuppertaler Falk Plücker actually studied history, philosophy, and humanities, but nine years ago he developed his cabaret talent, which was basically given to him at birth. At home, satire and biting humor were simply part of good manners.

"Unverschämt!" can be understood as an indignant exclamation, but for people with a sense of humor, it can also be a true quality seal – just like at a FALK concert. The songwriter is delightfully boundary-crossing in all directions in his current concert program "Unverschämt", paired with biting yet sympathetic sarcasm – a lovable troublemaker indeed. At the same time, he is more than that. The songwriter is a storyteller with a reflective side that can touch.

A visit to a concert by FALK might be discouraged for people with weak nerves, those prone to oversensitivity, and all too delicate souls. It’s a good thing our subscription tickets are transferable, so in case of doubt, just send your children or grandchildren to the theater…

Midwinter - Ein Tanzstück von James Wilton

Twice a year, the sun hangs above us at a turning point. In summer, when the days seem almost endless and in winter, when we barely see daylight. For thousands of years, people have celebrated this special day, the transition from light to darkness, in a variety of traditions. In Midwinter, James Wilton places the ancient Celtic mythology of his homeland at the center of the evening and takes us on an immersive journey around the death of winter and the rebirth of summer.

James Wilton's Dance Company is one of England's most important independent dance companies and has received numerous awards. Since 2010, Wilton has produced his own works, touring in over 15 countries. He has also developed pieces for other venues, including the Scottish Dance Theatre, the Graz Opera, and the Staatstheater Braunschweig. Wilton's choreography is characterized by extremely physical and challenging movements as well as unique floor and partnering combinations. He conducts workshops and masterclasses and, with 190,000 followers, is one of the most followed dance companies on Instagram. For the Dance Company of the Theater Osnabrück, Wilton is choreographing the piece "MIDWINTER" for the 24/25 season, with which the dance ensemble will be our guest.

The Bluesanovas - 21st Century Blues

When it comes to blues "Made in Germany," you can really only mean the Bluesanovas. In recent years, the quintet has earned the status of an absolute live insider tip and has managed to convince fans and critics alike with its retro style.

At the "International Blues Challenge" 2020 in Memphis (USA), "The Bluesanovas" represented Germany and made it to the semifinals. Their good reputation preceded the three-time "German Blues Award" winners, and it is hardly surprising that none other than Eric Clapton invited the five musicians from Münster as a support act for his Germany tour in 2022.

The band's playful repertoire ranges between blues, boogie, rock 'n' roll, and some swing components. With their two released albums and an EP, which they recorded and produced in the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, "The Bluesanovas" can draw from a wealth of material in their live performances and demonstrate what blues "Made in Germany" is capable of: music that goes straight from the ear to the leg.

Today is the day: Rabbit Bellhop has his first day as a hotel page. The uniform fits, every single rule of the page handbook does too. Nothing should go wrong. But as soon as the hotel manager calls and nervously entrusts the rabbit with his post, Bellhop feels a bit uneasy. His fear that the manager's absence could be related to the soon-to-arrive guest turns to certainty when a grumpy bear stands before him to spend his hibernation at the hotel. He has exactly two demands of Bellhop: First, to incubate a chicken egg so that the bear has breakfast after hibernation, and second, never to disturb his sleep under any circumstances. Unfortunately, the little chick that soon hatches is not only desired by the bear but also by Inspector Falcon, who is actually hunting smugglers and has placed the hotel at the center of his investigations. When a dubious trio of raccoon siblings also checks into the hotel and declares themselves the new cleaning crew, the chaos is complete. How will Bellhop manage to find the lost chick, tame the raccoons, and not become breakfast for the bear himself?

Tridiculous - Die Show - Tanzakrobatik - Beat Boxing - Varieté

Three smart guys on stage and an indescribable
show. If you describe their act as dance acrobatics, you miss
the theatrical dimension. If you want to call it beat boxing comedy,
the artistic part is absent. If you label it as varieté, the
dance quality is lacking. And at the end of every description,
there's still the all-encompassing, infectious humor missing.
Tridiculous translates to "The Three Goofballs." They don’t take
themselves too seriously and offer the audience fun and amazement
in abundance.

Whether it's breakdance, slapstick, or beatbox, trapeze, pole, or
singing, the guys master every discipline. The show captivates
the audience; it rocks, shakes, and touches with live music,
acrobatics, comedy, and unstoppable energy. Why not use the
momentum of a somersault to play the drums? Why settle for
canned music when you can accompany your artistry with live
music yourself?

On top of that, they embody multiculturalism: a Russian who
grew up in Tel Aviv and two Ukrainians met in Berlin, and now
they're rocking the stages of the republic. Fast, spectacular,

Peter Autschbach´s TA2 - Fusion - Jazz - Rock

Instrumental versatility in the form of organized independence wrapped in a driving groove – that is TA2, and much more. In the tradition of legendary fusion bands like Return To Forever, John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra, or the Dixie Dregs, the four musicians surrounding the renowned jazz guitarist Peter Autschbach explore the boundaries of rock, pop, and jazz with their skill and joy in playing.

TA2 presents its acoustic journeys through the musical landscapes in a distinctive, recognizable group sound. In the equally fresh and intelligent compositions of the bandleader, various sound colors and tonal images come to expression.

The virtuosic violin playing of Marta Danilkovich gives TA2 a high recognition value, skillfully framed by Nico Deppisch on bass and Jan Melnik on drums, while Peter Autschbach offers compelling solos in a friendly challenge. At the 41st German Rock & Pop Prize 2023, TA2 won awards in the categories Best Fusion-Jazz-Rock Band and Best Fusion-Jazz-Rock Album. They were also honored in the special categories Best Fusion-Jazz-Rock Song, Best Drummer (Jan Melnik), and Best Guitarist (Peter Autschbach).

Ein rätselhafter Schimmer - Amüsier-Schau über die Wilden Zwanziger

A tempting voice, a lively bass, a swinging piano. This is music that makes the feet want to dance - and so do the brushes! And they actually do: Live before the astonished eyes of the audience, they conjure up a likewise exuberantly dancing couple onto the white canvas in rhythm. The brushes are expertly guided by Robert Nippoldt and are not the only drawing tools to make their appearance in this special interplay of music and art. With chalk, pencil, and ink, the stars of the Weimar Republic experience a resurrection in just a few moments. The "Comedian Harmonists" disassemble a concert grand piano in a visible and audible ecstasy, and a slapstick number pays tribute to the beginnings of sound films. One strolls with keen eyes through the capital and witnesses how the Memorial Church regains its roof. It's also astonishing how one can get to know all the chancellors of the Weimar Republic in just three minutes.

Thanks to camera and large projection, the audience is very close - to every stroke that the artist's hand elegantly brings to paper. All of this is enlivened, commented on, and inspired by the three fabulous musicians of the "Trio Größenwahn", who with verve and humor remind us of the classics of that time.

Haushaltsloch - Kabarettabend mit Bumillo

»The little bit of household ...«, yes, who does it then? Is this question a taboo or an opportunity? Is working the great happiness of our time? Or is staying at home the new success model? How can one damn well manage to keep all the to-dos in mind and get family and career under one roof?

Bumillo is a cabaret artist and househusband, but you can only book him for one of the two. The other he only practices very exclusively in front of a small or no audience. But whether it's a microphone or microfiber: he always goes full throttle forward and pulls heads out of the nooses of everyday life. Stand-up comedy and rap are what the 40-year-old family man carries along when he, as usual, smartly, penetratingly, and thrillingly roams the stage, delivering timeless cabaret in the here and now. We could witness this live at the Freiburg Culture Exchange.

30 Jahre Zenit - Musikkabarett mit Nessi Tausendschön und William Mackenzie

Nessi Tausendschön is a true alpha female of the German cabaret scene. She is known from radio and television: from the Satire Summit or as a guest on "Ladies Night" on WDR and the show "Die Anstalt" on ZDF. She represents 30 years of cosmopolitan cultivated absurdity, smooth large and small arts, astonishment dance, melancholic remorse poetry, and beautiful music. When Nessi celebrates the fractures of life, even the soul-blind in the audience awaken from their distanced paralysis, then the boundaries between inner, remembered spiritual reality and outer, embodied presence blur, between public and private, even intimate. And no eye remains dry. In short: Nessi has a tongue like a riding whip as a cabaret artist, but a voice like an angel as a singer. A wonderful combination.

In addition to many other awards, Nessi is the recipient of the German Small Arts Award and the Salzburg Bull. She last graced our stage with the cabaret natural phenomenon in 2015 with "The Wonderful World of Amnesia." We look forward to a new performance!

In the Heart Forest, a small, quirky unicorn is born. But even though everyone is very lilalove to it and constantly feeds it sweetened luck clover, the little creature doesn't behave like a unicorn at all. It simply keeps saying no, so its family soon starts to call it the NOunicorn. One day, the NOunicorn escapes from its cotton candy world. It meets the WASbear, a raccoon that doesn't want to listen, the NAhDOG, who truly doesn't care about anything, and then the King's DAUGHTER, a princess who always argues back. The four make quite a good team. Because even being stubborn is much more fun together!

The author, songwriter, cabaret artist, and performer Marc-Uwe Kling (*1982) is primarily known for his book series "The Kangaroo Chronicles." He has received several awards, including the German Audiobook Prize. Since 2015, he has also been writing children's books. "The NOunicorn" was published in 2019 and has already had a sequel since the end of 2021: "The NOunicorn and the BORINGNESS." In 2021, Kling won the Jonathan Swift Prize for Satire and Humor with "The NOunicorn."
