baff! (GER)
baff! astonishes and surprises. baff! moves. baff! wants to think, but also to switch off. baff! makes music. Pop music. Music that won’t let go. With German lyrics, ambitious, but with catchy arrangements and melodies and on current, yet timeless themes. Sometimes fragile and delicate. Then again powerful, profound, direct. The music of baff! has a unique liveliness. On and off stage, the four musicians Florentine Faber, Lilly Ketelsen, Jonathan Mummert, and Maximilian Kleinert from Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, and Halle are good friends, strong-charactered singers, and absolutely themselves. They address important topics but don’t take themselves too seriously. baff! has already won national and international awards, produced music videos with over 70 accompanying singers, voiced Dreamworks animated characters for Netflix, and more.
Beat Poetry Club (AUT)
Beat Poetry Club is one of the few all-female bands in the international a cappella scene. The five Viennese women combine finest beats, soulful choirs, and captivating choreography. A cappella soul-pop with hip-hop factor! In their new program "This girl is on fire!" with beatboxer Lilly Janoska, they take their audience to the land of bass drums, snares, hi-hats, and other beatbox sounds. They fly on groove carpets and create fantastic beats to shake and groove along to. Together, they enchant with world-famous hits in their own arrangements. An exhilarating show that has already thrilled audiences internationally from Vienna to Zurich to Shanghai.
Gesangskapelle Hermann (AUT)
It is the year 2024, and Gesangskapelle Hermann is releasing their 5th studio album "SEHR SOGAR". How many stories, moments of happiness, larger and smaller catastrophes lie behind this sober announcement can best be guessed by watching the gentlemen as they take the stage, sing their souls out of their bodies, share their feelings, and let their emotions run free. "SEHR SOGAR" is joy of life, being in the moment, celebrating the beautiful, meant to encourage and help forget everyday worries at least a little bit. "SEHR SOGAR" also means watching the Hermänner grow older and experiencing the struggles of privileged thirty-somethings. Above all, however, "SEHR SOGAR" is music that is as colorful, cheeky, loving, and cool as the Gesangskapelle Hermann itself, which is sometimes hip-hop, sometimes pop, or Schlager. Sometimes shrill, sometimes soft, very different, yet still cohesive. They give everything and are happy when it’s enough. "SEHR SOGAR"!
