Theater play "Zengin Mutfağı" with Şener Şen is going on a European tour – An event by Das Ist. Event, Gişe Event, and BKM

The theater play "Zengin Mutfağı" is set against the backdrop of the largest labor movement in the history of the Turkish Republic, the events of June 15-16, 1970, and shows the impact of these events on the kitchen of a wealthy family.

The servants of the estate, who have known nothing else but to serve, can no longer remain indifferent to the events unfolding before their eyes. Each of them will experience their part of the social change.

In this humorously staged play by Vasıf Öngören, the events are vividly told. The play has been interpreted many times on stage and adapted for the cinema screen. In 1978, Şener Şen first played the role of chef Lütfü Usta in this play at the Istanbul City Theater. After 40 years, he is now returning to the stage in the same role – with a young ensemble by his side.

Oliver Rohrbeck, the voice of the "Die drei ???" detective Justus Jonas, and sound effects icon Jörg Klinkenberg are touring Germany with an interactive event. Together, they take the audience on a journey to the origins of the thrilling investigations of the three detectives.
Together with up to eight fans, a unique live audio play is created on stage at each show. Live sound effects, carefully selected music, and a well-crafted sound design provide the appropriate sound backdrop, showing the audience live what is usually hidden behind the walls of audio play studios.
This show is dedicated to the story "Die drei ??? und der Phantomsee" from a different perspective, which has been reworked by Oliver Rohrbeck as a unique live tour.

Corinna Harfouch is one of the most well-known German character actresses in film, television, and theater. She convincingly embodies the extremes of human existence. After her acting studies in Berlin, she was seen on all major German-speaking stages, among others she performed in 2004 under the direction of Jürgen Gosch at the German Theater Berlin in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" (invitation to the Berlin Theater Meeting and the Vienna Festival Weeks). Guest performances took her to the Stuttgart State Theater, the Schauspielhaus Zurich, the Vienna Burgtheater, and the Salzburg Festival. More recently, she has appeared at the German Theater Berlin in "The Seagull" (direction: Jürgen Gosch) and "Birthday Candles" (direction: Anna Bergmann), at the Hanover State Theater in "Orlando" and "Annette. A Heroine Epic" (direction: Lily Sykes), as well as at the Gorki Theater in Berlin in "Queen Lear" (direction: Christian Weise). Her special preference is for recitation, for which her reading theater, staged readings, and a large number of audiobooks stand. Some of her most well-known films include "Vera Brühne" (direction: Hark Bohm), Oliver Hirschbiegel's "Downfall," and Hans Christian Schmidt's "What Remains." She filmed "Dangerous Friend" and "Quiet! Lothar is Dying" with Hermine Huntgeburth, "In Winter a Year" with Caroline Link, and "Lara" with Jan-Ole Gerster. Peter Lohmeyer attended the Westphalian School of Acting in Bochum. He then had engagements at the Stuttgart State Theater, at the Theater Der Kreis in Vienna, and at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus. At the Berlin Schillertheater, Peter Lohmeyer performed under the direction of Katharina Thalbach in Lessing's "Minna von Barnhelm" (1992) and Shakespeare's "As You Like It" (1994). In 2002, he worked for the first time with Julian Crouch at the German Schauspielhaus Hamburg with Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream"; starting from 2013, he could be seen as Death in Crouch's production of "Everyman" in Salzburg. He played the title role in Ibsen's "Rosmersholm" (direction: Leander Haußmann, 2011) at the Volksbühne Berlin; in "Opening Night" based on John Cassavetes' film (direction: Anselm Weber, 2013) and in Chekhov's "Uncle Vanya" (direction: Stephan Kimmig, 2014) he took on lead roles at the Schauspielhaus Bochum. In 2016, he appeared as Bassa Selim in Mozart's "The Abduction from the Seraglio" (direction: Wajdi Mouawad) at the Opéra National de Lyon. In 1988, Peter Lohmeyer made his film debut in Dominik Graf's "Tiger, Lion, Panther." This was followed by his films "Player" (1990) and "The Rock" (2002). He celebrated his greatest success as the returning soldier Lubanski in Sönke Wortmann's "The Miracle of Bern," for which he received the German Film Award in 2004. His other accolades include: the German Film Award in 1998 as "Best Supporting Actor" for "Migratory Birds ... Once to Inari" (direction: Peter Lichtefeld), the Bavarian Television Award in 2000 for "The Elephant in My Bed" (direction: Mark Schlichter), and the Film Award of the City of Hof in 2007. He personally considers Adolf Winkelmann's "Young Light" (2016) to be one of his most important works for German cinema, as well as his latest film, which will come to theaters in early 2024: "Talk to Me" (direction: Janin Halisch). Currently, his remarkably comedic talent can be enjoyed in the ZDFneo series "I don't work here" available in the media library.

They've done it again: MAYBEBOP presents their fifth Christmas show with Schöner Schein. And it's amazing what the four can still draw from the festival of festivals and how fresh and vibrant it still works on stage after over 20 years as a band!

With Schöner Schein, alongside newly interpreted classics like Carol of the Bells, Die Nacht ist vorgedrungen, or the lively Heidschi Bumbeidschi, many of their own German songs offer new perspectives on the holy night: The tragicomic tango Der Tod des Weihnachtsmannes and the touching Was ich besaß address the belief in the man with the beard in very different ways, the energetic folk-rock Die Ballade vom Fanta-Klaus tells of a surprising encounter with the very same man, the pointed Christmas daydreams look behind the facade of some Christmas idylls, and the song Immergrün, sung from the perspective of a fir tree, is recommended as a must-have piece in any standard dance class. The undeniable highlight of the album is clearly the German rap parody KNG of LightZ, which makes it clear who has the cabin with the highest bling-bling factor: gloriously funny and stylistically spot on.
