Selma Meerbaum-Eisinger's first poems, dedicated to her friend and now a piece of world literature, were created in 1939 in Czernowitz, where she lived as the daughter of German-Jewish parents. In 1981, Ursula Kurze, at the age of 18, discovered these poems for herself, composed many of them, followed Selma's traces to her friends in Israel, who had survived the Holocaust and were able to save Selma's poetry collection “Blütenlese.” Selma died at the age of 18 in the concentration camp.

An Iranian student visits her uncle in the lonely mountains of Iran, where she learns of a secret that shakes her. The thought-provoking film revolves around the relationship between morality and coercion, resistance and survival in a despotic world. Despite all criticism of the political leadership of Iran, the film is also an ode to the country, its landscapes, and its inhabitants.
