RROYCE - still RROARRIN´! Tour 2025 + Special Guest: ZOODRAKE
In January 2013, the Dortmund trio took to the stage for the first time - on the occasion of the Underground Bandcontest "UNBACO". Here, RROYCE emerged as the winner out of 64 bands.
In 2013, various performances followed, such as at the Leipzig Wave-Gotik-Treffen (WGT), as support for Crüxshadows during their European tour, winning the "X-mas Hexentanz", and being nominated for the German Rock & Pop Prize 2013 in two categories, where RROYCE was awarded the 1st prize for "Best Gothic-Wave Band" and the 2nd prize for "Best Electropop Band".
In 2014, RROYCE was voted by readers to third place in the "Battle of the Bands" by the scene magazine Sonic Seducer, performed at the Hexentanz-Open Air, the Blackfield Festival and completed their "Electronic Transformers Tour", where they presented their first full-length album "Dreams & Doubts & Fears". The debut album was initially produced independently, with the first edition of 300 copies selling out within three months. The reissue was released by the Swiss label THEXOOMO and thanks to the distribution by Broken Silence, the album is now available in all record stores.
"Dreams & Doubts & Fears" was chosen by some DJs in the Top 10 of the "Albums of the Year 2014". Additionally, RROYCE achieved top ten placements with their album, including in the Poponaut charts (8th place - January 2015) and the GEWC charts (6th place - February 2015).
In 2015, RROYCE increased their live presence and shared the stage as part of the Electronic Transformers Tour with scene greats such as De/Vision, Solitary Experiments, and Tyske Ludder.
In September 2016, the follow-up album "Karoshi" was released and reached 2nd place in the GEWC album charts. The two single releases "The Principle of Grace" and "Who needs" each reached 2nd place in the GEWC single charts.
Due to these successes, the label INFACTED-RECORDINGS took notice of RROYCE. To seal the collaboration, the Karoshi album was re-released as a "Deluxe Version" at INFACTED in October 2017. Over the turn of the year 2017/2018, RROYCE supported Eisfabrik as special guests on their club tour and managed to win a large fan base for themselves during a memorable performance at the Amphi Festival 2018.
In November 2018, RROYCE toured as a "Special Guest" during an extensive club tour with Solitary Experiments throughout Germany. In early 2019, the three Dortmund musicians underscored their live ambitions with engagements at two major festivals, namely E-Tropolis and Plague Noire.
In September 2019, the third studio album "Patience" was released and within the framework of an extensive club tour with WELLE:ERDBALL, RROYCE was able to expand their circle of fans.
The time of Corona felt like it slowed down the RROYCE express from 230 km/h to 0, but that couldn't prevent them from continuing where they left off with major gigs, including at E-Tropolis 2022. AND ONE took notice of RROYCE and in the fall of 2023, they played a joint tour with audience numbers never reached before.
2024 is dedicated to major festivals for RROYCE. E-Tropolis, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, and Mera Luna set the stage for the three guys from the Ruhr area.
Dedicated to the spirit of the 80s, RROYCE brings the influences of wonderful wave/electro/synth-pop into the modern age.
Enjoy your ride!
