They are modern, fresh, cheeky, and provide courage, strength, and optimism. Exactly what the world so desperately needs right now! This autumn, they are on a grand RODEO TOUR 2024 across Germany!
The Beauty and the Beast, here in one person – Lisa-Marie Watz, the frontwoman of the band. Chris Bunnell, Ben Juelg, and Julian Schuetze provide the instrumental, brutal pedestal for the vocal force of nature.
That things have been musically heading in the right direction for a while now was shown by the first single releases "Break Out" (2020) and "Break the Silence" (2021). These made it directly onto the playlists of top rock radio stations like RADIO BOB!, ROCKANTENNE, Radio21, and Star FM. The TV stations WDR and HR also noticed the band and invited them to the shows "WDR Rockpalast" and "bühnefrei" in 2021.
And the red power machine keeps going without detours! This year started directly with 2 shows at 70000 Tons of Metal, the world's largest heavy metal cruise through the Bahamas. A gigantic step and a big adventure for the Hessians! In summer 2024, APRIL ART is confirmed for over 25 festivals, (including WACKEN Open Air, ALPEN FLAIR in South Tyrol, METALFEST OPEN AIR in the Czech Republic, ROCK AM HÄRTSFELDSEE, and many more).
The year 2023 was characterized by what musicians love to do the most, touring, touring, touring. After a spring special guest tour and a fat festival season, they went on a major headliner tour in autumn 2023, consisting of 20 shows. The hard work paid off, many of the shows were sold out!
Hearing APRIL ART live is an experience in itself. The energy that the group unleashes on stage is unparalleled. With their exciting mix of heavy metal with melodic passages enhanced by electronic elements and hip hop influences, and a fantastic female voice with a lot of grit and simultaneously strong emotions, APRIL ART unleashes a large portion of positive energy that turns your head upside down.
