Yes, you read that right, the famous master detective Sherlock Holmes and yours truly, Dr. Watson, have landed in the Swabian region. Admittedly, not entirely voluntarily. However, our genius could not turn down the invitation from an old acquaintance, Baroness von Zuckerberg, to a gala dinner again. So here we are dining at the same time in the adjacent room of the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu this evening.
Fleeing from his talkative table neighbor, the Baroness, the detective narrowly misses the supposed murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.
Granted, his health was not the best. But to suddenly fall face forward into the Maultaschen soup is not the proper English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the previously deadly boring evening is saved.
A mystery unfolds, an extremely tricky case, as the investigation results seemingly rule out any presence of poison. The questioning of witnesses, the medical examiner, and some of the dinner guests make some unsuspecting lambs in the hall appear suspicious.
With eager and high spirits, the famous detective engages his little grey cells. "Swabian Cleverness" quickly takes hold, but no false house builder can mislead the master so easily. For him, the solution to the case becomes clear of course soon. As always, he keeps us in the dark for a while longer before the murderer is skillfully apprehended.
