Die Zauberflöte is the most famous, the most popular, and the most performed German opera. The fairytale-like plot as well as the wonderful, catchy melodies enchant young and old. Without exaggeration, one can say: Die Zauberflöte is the favorite opera among children altogether.



The opera offers children an incredible variety of stimuli for the imagination: There is the funny, unforgettable Papageno, the wonderful love story between Prince Tamino and his beloved Pamina, the magnificent, wise world of Sarastro's sun temple, and the evil, dangerous Queen of the Night with her incredible coloratura drama. In addition, there are enchanted musical instruments, threatening snakes, and dancing animals, in a world where good celebrates its secure victory over evil.



Now a very special, beautiful version of this opera classic for children aged 4 and up comes to the stage. The shimmering voices of the PRAGUE CHAMBER OPERA enchant the audience with the most famous arias and ensembles of this masterpiece. The enchanting story is told by the sympathetic actress Melinda Thompson. As "High Priestess Isira," she presents the plot in a slightly shortened, clear, understandable manner, with wit and charm.

The famous "Hedwig’s Theme," which has since become the main melody of the film series, can probably be hummed by almost anyone—and it gives them goosebumps!

"The Music of Harry Potter – Live in Concert" is a magical evening of a very special kind. It harmoniously encapsulates the musical highlights of the "Harry Potter" films and the play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" into a unique experience.

With state-of-the-art technology, the large ensemble of the Cinema Festival Symphonics will take Harry Potter fans on a musical journey through all 8 "Harry Potter" films. Soloists, choir, and orchestra celebrate the unique sound power that fully immerses the audience in the world of magic, and together with elaborate screen animations and visual effects, they create a rollercoaster of emotions.

Pure goosebumps when "Hedwig’s Theme" transports the audience to Hogwarts or when the choir performs "Double Trouble." A lively atmosphere is brought by "The Night Bus" with the speedy ride of the Knight Bus. Things get mystical with "Black Lake," as the audience dives with Harry into the Black Lake and the realm of the merfolk.

Finally, no eye remains dry when Hermione disappears from her parents' lives with "Obliviate" and during "Dumbledore's Farewell," all of Hogwarts bids farewell to its beloved headmaster.

This journey into the magical world of Harry Potter does not begin at Platform 9 ¾, but directly in the concert hall!

Two giants of the London underworld go head to head: On one side, Jonathan Peachum, who has turned begging in the big city into a lucrative business. On the other side, Macheath, known as Mackie Messer, the gang leader, who is considered completely above board thanks to his excellent contacts with the police. When Peachum's daughter Polly marries Macheath, the dispute comes to the surface. Can the marriage be undone, perhaps even with the help of the gallows? The beggar king informs on the master criminal: Mackie Messer must go into hiding, betrays Polly, and is betrayed in return. And above all, the moon shines over Soho! Two giants of the cultural world, Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, have joined forces to create a unique connection between music and theater with the "Threepenny Opera." Their colorful characters continue to fascinate to this day, and their songs and lyrics have become worldwide hits.

MA NAVU consists of Uwe, a culture enthusiast and musical jack-of-all-trades, who continually enriches our repertoire with his arrangements. Stephan, who lays out the sound carpet for us with his varied bass playing but also surprises with other instruments. Kathrin, who rounds out the harmonies with her clear clarinet sound and brings in the necessary momentum as a dance lover.

Each of the three brings their own musical experience - enriched with new melodies and arrangements, the incomparable "MA NAVU sound" is created.

Prince Tamino has lost his way while hunting and finds himself in great danger. At the last moment, he is saved by the three ladies of the Queen of the Night. The three are smitten by the beauty of the young man and immediately set off to report to their mistress about the young man. The Queen chooses the unknown prince, that he may rescue her kidnapped daughter Pamina from the hands of Sarastro. As a reward, she promises him Pamina as his wife. For protection against the dangers of his mission, Tamino receives a magic flute, and together with the clumsy bird catcher Papageno, he embarks on the adventure of his life.
With his last stage work, Mozart left the most controversial of his works. No opera has been interpreted as diversely and contradictorily throughout its history as "Die Zauberflöte". At the same time, it consistently holds its place at the top of the opera charts and remains the epitome of opera for young and old alike.

In Wolfgang Herrndorf's novel "Tschick," Isa only made a guest appearance. Here, she finally takes center stage in a story that tells how she breaks out of an institution and travels the world: "The stars wander, and I wander too." On this journey, she encounters former bank robbers, eccentric writers, and of course two boys who have just stolen a car and don't quite know what to do with it - a whole host of strange characters, next to whom she suddenly doesn't seem so crazy anymore. But what does "crazy" really mean? "Being crazy just means you’re crazy, not stupid." In Herrndorf's unfinished novel "Bilder deiner großen Liebe," we accompany this fantastically bizarre-comically-wonderful character on a journey that will change her life.
