Bouncing Narratives ist ein wirres Durcheinander - ein spielerische Flut von Bildern, Klängen und Bewegungen, die den schmalen Grat zwischen purer Freude und Trauma auslotet. Das Stück kreist um Trauma-Erfahrungen, die sich nicht in Worte fassen lassen, die der Körper erinnert und auf die man immer wieder zurückgeworfen wird. Minimales und sich wiederholendes Bewegungsvokabular, wie Hüpfen und Gleiten sowie Nuancen von Rhythmus und Geschwindigkeit werden zu den Hauptbestandteilen eines performativen Akts mit tranceartiger Intensität, bei dem die Zuschauer*innen auf weichen Matten liegen und die Performer*innen auf einen Trampolin über sich verfolgen. In diesem interdisziplinären Gemeinschaftsprojekt und installativen Setting wird ein heterotopischer Raum für den entfremdeten Körper entworfen, der das verletzliche Selbst einer "Monsteridentität" und die Kluft zwischen dem Selbst und dem "Anderen" verhandelt.

Bouncing Narratives is a jumbled mess—a playful wash of images, sounds and movements that elicits the fine line of pure joy and trauma narratives. It centers around a trauma that cannot be expressed in words, that bounces back again and again. The spectators lie on soft mats and follow the performers on a trampoline above them. The use of minimal and repetitive vocabulary, like bouncing and sliding and nuances of rhythm and speed becomes the main component of a performative act that animates the installation and drives towards a trance-like intensity. In this interdisciplinary collaborative project Roza Moshtaghi proposes a heterotopian space for the alienated body, the vulnerable self of a “monster identity” and for the gap between the self and the “other”.
